I dunno. He actually does OK in PMQs... but then he has been against Johnson. He also did well in the Brexit debates, tied them up in that, even though nobody listened.

The key will be as he can't necessarily go for the 'not Boris Johnson' shtick anymore, and how much such a thing would fly with Truss. Although she's thoroughly inept, she doesn't do the appalling joking etc, and I'd be fairly sure she wouldn't end up in a party mess etc, so if we assume she's 'serious' the not Liz Truss would probably fly a bit, but not enough.

So then we're down to policy and presentation... which I do think will come, come an election but... we'll see, won't we!

Starmer is hopelessly inept as a politician it’s May style of robotics. He will be hopeless at an election - he’s just not a PM

It wasn’t selective - just the latest one on their account. Yesterdays had a 4pt Labour lead
Yeah with about a 4 point MoE

It is selective if you were posting the polls that were on there in last few days that give Labour a double digit lead.

It's textbook confirmation bias.

PVA and you refer to a 14 point poll lead. When was that taken?
That has absolutely nothing to do with the point i am making, can you kindly stop changing the point of the conversation.

The point I have made is you are pretending labour have lost a 14 point lead in that poll when they have not.

Anyway polling on both polls closed within 1 day of each other.

I’m not pretending anything but it seems an incredibly extreme variation - where was the poll with the huge lead from?

The 27th, and the other poll is from the 27th to 28th.

The difference will be methodology so let's keep this truthful.

Comparing movement against different polls run by different polls is disingenuous at best

Not really….. we have had a lack of action from Labour in regards to the strikes and I merely posed the question.

From Britain Elects over the last 14 days we’ve had: +1 Lab, +4 Lab, +14 Lab, +7 Lab, +8 Lab, +6 Lab, +4 Lab

Was it the Ipsos poll? What did it say about Tory voters likely to say “don’t know” versus labour voters?

It may not be the Ipsos poll - which was it can you show me the source?

Yes and you are trying to compare it to a yougov poll

The dates mean fuck all to fair and as I said to say otherwise is disingenuous

Why are you swearing and getting angry?

There were two polls from two different companies that showed a 14 point lead (Ipsos) and a 13 point lead (Savanta) .

You can't say they've lost that 14 point lead until you see the next Ipsos poll.

Before grenners posts his next nonsense post let be clarify

I have not called any polls accurate, I said it was disingenuous to compare to another and claim that is movement in the polls.

Anyway we’ve got there @David O'Day . When asked in this poll who’d be the best prime minister - Sunak v Starmer who won?

This really, It's simply nonsense to take the result of a yougov poll and say it shows labour have lost a lead that another companies poll showed

I didn’t - I spent 10 seconds of my life making a meme I thought was amusing.

Are you going to report me to the Labour compliance and discipline department for besmirching the chosen one?

No, why the fuck would I do that?

And as I said - I posed the hypothesis that perhaps the movement could be down to a perceived lack of action in regards to strikes. If you don’t think it is then just say so.

what I am talking about is Grenners implying something that is incorrect.

I've already said the poll you were quoting seems to be bumping around with the MoE for that poll.

@PVA you laughed when I said truss was close to Starmer in a poll as when asked who’d be best PM. Why?
