Genuinely really looking forward to tonight. It’s been a long time since the pre match routine, excitement as we walk down the towpath and then the buzz around the ground.

As others have said; I hope it’s that way tonight. We need to re-create the excellent atmosphere of last year and that togetherness of fans and players.

Tonight is about the team and not the owners. I get the frustration but the first game back after so long away is not the time to express it. We need a win and we need to be that cliche 12th man tonight.

Team wise I don’t see the point in dropping Moore other than destroying his confidence even more. Despite some misgivings we have to bring Hamer in for Allen, he can be a game changer. Rest of the team the same.

I think we’ll see a step up in performance tonight. An early goal for us would put a stop to their anti-football tactics, and I think expose them even more.

2-0, Gyokeres, Godden.

Agreed. With the leaky goals, the pitch fiasco, the injury to OHare, the necessity to sell, and all the despondency around Boddy and Wasps ... lets hope it's a good game, a good crowd, and three points to cheer us all up. Getting quite excited.

Anyone know if Lythall's Lane Industrial Estate will be open until after the game finishes? Byatts are open for a pint but don't want to get locked in....

Think we need to score early, in first 20 minutes at least. If not, see us getting caught out, or more likely with an error and leave the day still rooted at the bottom. A win would be a well needed boost.

Sorry, positivity at an all time low and given PNE are our bogey team I can't see anything other than an away win. PNE haven't been scoring this season but have been creating a lot of chances in their games. I think we'll score though. 2-1 to PNE.

Could be fatal at his age.

Right on the cusp between falling over and 'having a fall'

Pretty sure he was forged in a steel mill and the only way to effectively end his football career will be to melt him down and turn him into a piece of structural support for the new stadium.

I just want a win. I'm not even going to ask not to concede, because I realise that's not our style. Just a win please.

Losing Hyam makes the case for rolling the dice on 4-3-3 a bit stronger, I'd hope, at least at home.

Tavares on the right, Vik on the left, Godden through the middle. Hamer, Sheaf and Palmer behind.

Really don't want Allen near the starting XI in a home game unless one of the three above is injured.

Dabo, Rose, Panzo and Bidwell is an OK back four albeit light on leadership. GK situation scares me.

Hmmm, SSNews reporting Hamer is suspended for tonight!?

Have they fooked up, as I was under the impression it was one game only?

Is this not on ifollow for those genuinely abroad as well? Don't ask me why I wish to watch it, but I just logged in and there was no option to purchase the game.

Surely he’s tearing the SPL apart?

Southern Premier League?

That is why someone said they had seen him in Nuneaton market buying some boots today
