Lego being a kill joy now

I doubt there are a huge amount of people wanting to buy a stadium.

Exactly and a rugby club losing £10m pa ?! I still think the stadium is probably only of interest to someone with us in it

Can’t see SISU buying it (no cash) but could see someone considering a move for the stadium and us…whether that would include Wasps as well 🤷‍♂️

Now is the moment that sisu should make a statement re wasps re 10 year contract the way forward because boddy and co just can't ignore it and expect to carry on as it's there problem as it is the insects.

A decent owner with rights to owning a stadium is a minimal requirement any fan would want of the team they support. So with that said, are we closer to that outcome, im not sure, Wasps are and have been making moves for this day. Sisu have got wind of this weeks ago and gave been doing the same.

Both will deny it, but both want out, its just now a game to who blinks 1st. I hope this is the beginning of the end for both within the city, i just don't think we are that lucky for it to happen. Time again will give us the answer, but what a pair of owners these have been for each club and what a corrupt bunch of councilman to have stirring the pot

Not one of these individuals i would like to share a air with in a room. I'd prefer to be with known criminals and hooligans as at least the face they wear is 1 and you know what to expect.

I genuinely can't see why anyone would want to buy Wasps in their current state - they've never turned a profit despite owning the stadium, being in the top division, and having £35m to invest. They've literally been at the top of the cycle and it still hasn't been enough.

Someone might want to pick up the carcass after administration, assuming they can dodge relegation, but buying them beforehand means paying off the bondholders or losing the stadium, and doing some kind of deal on the other debts (6m to HMRC?).

CCFC at least do have the possible (if extremely unlikely) opportunity to move up the ladder to the rich and sunlit uplands (ahem) of the Prem.

"there are other seriously interested parties" maybe there is something to the rumours and not just Clive getting the wrong end of the stick

Are the interested parties interested in The stadium (if so, surely it will be for the Football club. which could be run along with the stadium as a going concern. At best they would have Wasps as a tenant paying rent, Buying the football club would make sense, as thy would be guaranteed that CCFC did not move elsewhere, whereas if Wasps cut and run, it wouldn't be such a financial blow. Just can't see any interested parties being interested in buying the stadium and the egg chasers as a package. makes no financial sense to me (especially without the certainty of CCFC staying).

Wasps moving to Coventry was wrong at every level.

I'm sorry for the people whose jobs might be at risk, but their actions before and since moving here means that anyone who supports them or (like John Dalziel, stadium announcer for Wasps) has profited directly from the move, is in no place to take the moral high ground.

I'm sorry for those at risk too, but when some absolute cretin like John Daziel speaks like he is the man of the people, when in reality he has no idea how the people of the city feel, then I just ignore the dribble he posts.

I know it's remarkably petty and small-minded, but I do like the idea of having Wasps as our tenants, at least for a little while.

We could close their shop, take their logos down, give them a tiny changing room, cancel their first six home games with no notice, and then fuck 'em off to Birmingham.

If Clive heard something genuine about taking over both clubs it would make a fair amount of sense but it would be a serious amount of funding required. The ground is going nowhere with top flight rugby, it could with top flight football

Wondering what Gilbert has been told. Trying to make out the Ricoh doesn't need the sports aspect because of the hotel / casino etc.

The same stadium that Wasps were desperate to get us back to, to secure a Stadium sponsor. I think he may be telling a little white lie.
