New Stadium memory for me is Hussey standing on the left wing, totally unmarked, for a good five minutes - hand up and shouting for the ball. Even then nobody wanted to give it him, or thought him worth marking!

Loud round of ironic cheers when he was finally passed it.

We said that we'd miss Stoke on 22nd for financial reasons as I've been there quite a few times. I've done Cardiff before too, but family haven't been there (last year was supposed to be Boxing day originally) and as you say lots of home in October too.

For the three of us with coach, tickets, food and drink, most away games are £200+ . The only thing is as the date gets nearer and realise we're not going I'll probably end up with itchy feet and a last minute change of heart!

Having read @Evo1883 and @rob9872 posts, I've always wanted my wife and lad to share my passion (they don't, but are happy to let me follow CCFC). These posts just illustrate what a financial hit families take following their team. Big shout out to everyone for doing what they can. Also makes you realise that should we ever make the PL, hardly any 'families' would be able to afford attending more than a handful of away games. Arsenal, Spurs etc would equate to the cost of a small holiday !

The Premier League has a cap on away ticket prices. £30 i believe.

That's pretty good then - assumed that given the silly price for home games, it would be the same for away. I'm sure I read recently (and I know it's a cup game) that I read of a team from League 1 or 2 playing away at somewhere like Man Utd and having to pay stupid prices to attend (I'll update this post, when I can remember/google, who it was!
Edit: I know the big teams haven't played in Cups yet this season, so maybe it was last season. Going to bug me now !!

Should be something set up like that in the EFL too. A quid for U18s and 20 quid for everyone else would be fair. If it went beyond that I personally would be fine with an away fan paying less than what my season ticket cost per game.

Got a few of us already. Safe standing is an added bonus too.

Last season was my first visit there, nice big concourse but not a fan of the bowl, feels really shallow, not steep at all so the pitch feels quite far away.

Should be a good atmosphere though. I'm planning on a drink in town and then a taxi up before the game as the pubs nearby are either not very friendly or the height of boredom.

CCFC website p*ssing me about. Click on the ticket required, moves it across, but the Add to basket and checkout bit doesn't seem to work (faded green)
Via Google Chrome - any help gratefully received!

Failing miserably - one question.

When people are going into select ticket, is a price appearing?

For both safe standing and seating it just says 'from £0.00, lets me click it over, but won't let me move to checkout.

How does it know which category - i.e. Adult/Senior whichever? Can't see a selection method for that. I would have expected it to default to align with my 'details'?!

Getting ticked off now (and did clear my cookies!)

Likewise can’t get the kids involved. Made the mistake of dragging my daughter to city vs Newport a few years back - pissed it down. Even Max’s heroics weren’t enough to lift her out of her seat or head up from staring and her shoes.

On the pricing, it’s obviously good but I’m now worried that won’t be able to get one!

Might be wrong but wasn’t it Middlesbrough?

A good ground. Safe standing. Cheap tickets. Good allocation. A brilliant city to visit.

No brainer. We should sell that out.

Ticket purchased. New ground for me. Going Bristol as well. 2 nearest grounds to where I live, so no excuses really. Making Cardiff an overnighter as I like Cardiff City centre.

Just got two, as I didn't qualify until 2.00 PM

Interested to experience safe standing.

Got mine at about 2:10. Was trying to get the safe standing but it wasn’t letting me - Welsh gits!

Yeah. Never had a season ticket, even when I lived in Cov…should really renew my membership!
So looks like I have renewed my membership (an insight into my incompetent life admin right there) just got a lowly version of it.
How long do we think I’ll be waiting before I can purchase or they go on general sale?

Can anyone please point me in the direction of Club Membership? The £30 for the season.
I’ve followed the website instructions and it just takes me to the junior skyblue option. Have I missed something?
