I remember Thornton scoring a penalty against them as well.

I can see Freddy and Juke scoring and 2-1. Juke is due one after his miss in the week.

Hull sitting pretty in 9th place, avoiding a home defeat would be enough for me tomorrow. Lets go for 1-1 Eastwood. Will Hull bring many? 13,850

Not losing is more important then winning right now.

1-1 Jutkiewicz, Fryatt

I don't think we can be too confident about winning judging by these facts:

Hull's midweek defeat against fellow play-off chasers Burnley was a major setback, but they can still travel to Coventry with some confidence. The Tigers, ninth in the table and still in touch with the top six, are the only Championship side yet to lose away from the home in 2011.
They might also take encouragement from Coventry's recent form, and the fact that the Sky Blues have the division's worst record against current top-half clubs. Aidy Boothroyd's side have picked up a paltry eight points this season against teams in the top 12.
Without a win in four matches, Coventry are now only seven points above the relegation zone. They were denied a victory against fellow strugglers Doncaster on Tuesday by James Hayter's 88th-minute equaliser.
The first goal in this match could be all-important. Coventry have not come from behind to win all season, while Hull are both yet to lose after scoring first and yet to win after conceding the opener.

A clean sheet would be nice too.

I hope we get a half decent ref and maybe some lucky decisions. We are due some!

Awful.

Why doew Boothroyd never make changes and why bring 2 full backs on when we are losing?

We never look like scoring!

Bell was dire again!

We played worse than at the Brizzle game.

I think this is the first game I've been at where 'Play Up Sky Blues' wasn't sung by anyone. Must be the depression.

Because Hull looked like getting a 2nd even with 4 defenders. Also did we have any forwards on the bench? Where is O'Donovan?

Another riveting day out at the Ricoh Arena!
Why are the substitutes brought on so late when were losing! I know there wasn't much in the way of a star player on the bench but still a fresh pair of legs might have done something!
Freddy and Bell were poor today.
Its so frustrating because everyone wants Freddy to do well but he's just lazy and doesn't care if he hasn't got a goal in the first 20 minutes.
The atmosphere was dead today, you could feel the anticipation in the air. I think even the away fans gave up on trying to get a reaction of us.

He was on the bench....

They only went close at the very end when we had everybody forward. I mean 60 - 70 minutes in.

There is no point making changes on 80 minutes and expecting wonders.

Eastwood didn't really get a look in :(

If had to rate the team chemistry out of 100 it would be close to 0. None of the players seem to know where each other will be on the pitch so we end up hoofing it to areas 20 yards away from the nearest blue shirt.

The feeling amongst the fans I sit with is that we have become a joke and the next win may not even happen (we all know our previous end of season runs!)

Only 2 or 3 players seemed to show real heart out there, and one of them (Westwood) will very probably be on his way. Eastwood has bags of potential yet seemed to put in a lacklustre performance again, and as for David Bell, I honestly don't think words could describe his performance. I'm probably faster than him, more composed than him and I'm sure if I tried as often as him I could get past an opposition full-back at least once!

What was with Aidy too? Has he been to the Coleman school of substitutions? Cameron crocked himself in the 30th minute and was subbed off in the 78th! I think everybody is running out of ideas. The players, the management, the owners and the fans. I've never been embarrassed to be a Coventry fan before, but after recent times, I wouldn't blame people if they were! 1 win in 16, there are NO real excuses for a run that bad.

It seems like everything we do is so close yet so far away. I can only hope that things click in time for this run-in. We need to put an end to this run against Preston (I'm not even thinking about the Burnley game at the moment.....a result in that looks quite unlikely). If they beat us, I honestly worry about where we may finish.

Its annoying me when people are moaning about the lack of substituitions aidy makes - if you look at the lack of quality on the bench we had yesterday then there was no-one that was going to come on and change the game for the better.

Preston is a massive game but i can see us losing it :|
And if we do then were really in the shit

Hussey came on and ran at them and put a few crosses in. He could have come on the left wing in place of McShuffty?

Even if he gave O Donovan a chance for his pace, we were 1-0 down and somebody with a bit of pace might have got at them.
