Is it less than a week to go before the administration is confirmed for the arena?

still no even serious rumours about a buyer before that happens
The itk who told me over a month ago exactly what was happening re. Wasps and has, and told me what will happen regards the stadium fingers crossed on that, and then the big one sisu, I’m hopeful of a happy xmas.

So is that when funding is needed from? I’m very confused. Why all the talk of the council having to provide emergency funding last week and Duggins saying it’s down to bidders and he hopes it doesn’t go to admin?

He means an uncontrolled Admin with no agreed terms and buyers. CCCs biggest nightmare which is why they have dragged the Bondholders along so long.

Yes I get that. But it still doesn’t answer my question about funding.

At least any bidder won't have to worry about dumping Wasps off now, just buy the arena with a sitting tenant

The meetings with PRU are WASPs sorting out a deal to either not be relegated or be in Championship. Also to keep the P Shares

A purchaser of ACl may want P shares as part of keeping WASPS at Arena

Arena us still trading and receiving income

Right, so the meeting that never was last week would likely have been in case ACL was also going into admin then cancelled when not. Do we think that delay was requested by the council more in hope than expectation of a buyer? Seems to have been very quiet on rumours outside of NEC.

Council desperately needs the whole thing to not go tits up, but nobody will want to take on ACL with all the debt attached. Which will be why a lot of interested parties are probably holding fire until Friday

Yeah I get all that, it was the talk of a bailout that confused me if they were getting bought out before admin.

Covered in post 4628 onwards on previous page.
I don't read too much into that statement. I think he means ACL will go into administration next week and there is sure to be interest / bids, or something like that. I doubt very much the reporter knows anything not already in the public domain. If he did, it would be covered in much more prominence

If ACL go into admin friday who opens the gates and pays the wages, is this why ACL put in another NOI to put things into place before they go into admin themselves

Will it be a bidding war, can't see Sisu wanting to get into that

Why would they not want things to go tits up, thought they wanted rid of it, there must be something in place where the the pitch and stands have to stay and the ground cannot be converted to a warehouse or anything

Well, we shall see, but my opinion is, although there will be interest I don't expect to see massively high bids, considering the expensive repair / renovation work said to be required, and who is likely to be interested.
I just can't see NEC being interested unless they can get it very cheap.

We want a buyer who wants to own the football club and stadium. Gilbert quotes today that the Mike Ashley's interest has cooled

Remember the reference was to WASPs to begin with , ie WH

Depends on what "incentives" they also get. Car Park C still available as a Hotel/ Conference centre?

So this points towards a stepped process of Ashley, or someone else, acquiring ACL then moving forward with buying the club. Fingers crossed for a January transfer budget to kick on and therefore retain O’Hare, Gus, Sheaf & Viktor.

Wasps had applied for hotel permission there soon after getting the stadium but think that lapsed earlier this year

The option to build went from WASPs to WPS in a blink - a Richardson company

Richardson applied for WMCA funding but withdrew. But it could be part of any negotiation?

Maybe. Will certainly all become a lot clearer on Friday anyway if not sooner

Think I'm just going to take no news for what it is right now. Neither good nor bad.
I'm still cautiously optimistic we'll end up in a better position, even if its just slightly.
