1000% we would be charged rent - how else would the costs of stadium ownership be funded. If Sisu determined that ownership of the stadium and 100% of all the would add 3m a year to revenues then they could afford to double rent payments... that rent could be securitised to provide the funding to purchase.... or maybe we could sell some bonds (too soon!?)

In all seriousness though an Property Company for the stadium is a given, and a rental payment to that company gives that company "value" that can be mortgaged etc. So long as the company belongs to the same group then no concerns...

Isn't that what Richardson thought?

They should ask Blackburn about swapping the fixture rather than play it elsewhere imho

Wasn't there a reason last time as to why we couldn't do that? We tried to do it with Bristol City. Policing etc? I suppose it's no different to playing at Walsall last minute.

would be worth a shot although turnaround time is very much against us. We tried it with Huddersfield earlier in the season if I recall, and I’m sure the police stated they had insufficient resource on the date at short notice.

It’s such bollocks, it really is. Come to expect it but still, never makes it any easier

Don’t see why Blackburn would agree to it unless they’re terrified about any kind of fixture congestion. They’d lose a fair whack of money just by doing us a favour.

EFL did not agree!
Has it ever been said, by anyone who knows, that it has been SISUs's plan to get the stadium cheap by distressing Wasps?.

I know it sounds likely, but is it just an assumption that's become an accepted urban myth?

Do they actually want to own a stadium?

I know they've talked about other income streams but I've always thought, like actually building a stadium, that was just a negotiating position.

Sisu distressed WASPs into being £100m in debt? Interesting !

Not officially, but unofficially plenty have confirmed it. Their actions alone dragging their heels on any new ground speak volumes.

Edit: sorry thought this said Sisu want the stadium, not the distressing Wasps bit.

How you gonna tell them? March a fucking coffin around and sleep in a bin bag?

They don’t give a shit what we think.

I want them gone as much as the next guy but there is nothing we can do.

True - some people could at least stop sucking up to them

And replace with you, Hoffman and Maton per chance?

What on earth has Maton got to do with it or Hoffman for that matter. How do you rate our owners performance in the last 15 years? It’s not good enough is it?

Well according to you the plan was to get the stadium on the cheap.

Make your mind up!

Ill be blunt, you spend an awful lot of time almost exclusively defending the owners, you (and they) could swing everyone’s opinion simply by letting us know what the great plan is. You can’t complain about rumours in an information vacuum.

I think you will find I don't defend anyone. I simply pick up what is said and give reasoned response.

Nobody is sucking up to anyone.

Droaning on about what should have happened 8 years ago serves no purpose, it's just noise at this point.

The reality is a harsh one. We have to play the hand we have been dealt in the here and now. That means finding a venue for Tuesday if needed, and if the club pull that off, again, it'll be a miracle quite frankly.

None of this changes the back catalogue of SISU fuck ups, but little point debating all that again as it is utterly pointless.

Right, I'll break it down for you as you seem to be struggling,

You posted that that one line in a statement that says they are not currently selling tickets for Tuesday basically confirms the game will not be played. That is bollocks, it would be stupid to keep selling tickets to something they don't know will happen. This does not mean anything apart from there is uncertainty.

Also the say they are looking alternative plans, but as I said it would be remiss of them not to and they clearly state that these are back up plans.

Who gives a fuck about what you posted earlier? That's got nothing to do with the post I replied to.

The game could be at the CBS, it would could at Walsall or it could be at Coundon Wedge. I don't know, you don't know and CCFC don't know but once again I repeat I was talking about you 1 nonsense post.

Do you understand or do you need me to write it in crayon and post it to you?

Well from Blackburn's perspective it saves travel time, turns a probable win into a guaranteed one etc. Plus we already saved them a few bob by shifting Hyam for a ridiculous fee.

Maybe Waggott will feel like an extra piss take

You get very upset when people reply to you with logical answers. Not a question of sucking up to any one just giving reasoned replies

They aren’t reasoned replies though are they? You have constantly supported these owners. We are potentially moving for a third time. By any definition that’s unreasonable and as a director yourself you’ll know that accountability rests with Tim Fisher does it not?

Just play it at the CBS we can police it ourselves just need the bogs open no need for refreshments at ht or before just be adult about it for one game?

I guess if SISU get the Arena for less than originally they were trying to pay (who knows) then that might be a small consolation

To be honest I don’t mind the silence right now if things are happening.

I’ve always assumed their plan was to wait wasps out then sell the club to someone who also bought the stadium.

If we end up as tenants to Wellington Cricket club or something equally absurd then I’d want to know what their plan is.

Protests on the hill if they take over?
