Apparently he was on a scouting mission for Sunderland, from what i've been told on another thread. He won't be the next manager. What experience has he got to warrant him getting the job? It will be a disaster if he does and relegation will be a distinct possiblity.

What a terrible list. Gary Megson!? Even their own didn't want that :jerkit:. I think Sean Dyche, Dennis Wise and Mark Robins are the best of a very mediocre bunch.

Staunton yesterday apparently told the BBC that he wasn't interested in the job.

Don't blame him (although really not for me anyway)

Who is going to want to take this on?

Another 10 games of crap and we are staying down here for years

Jeez how many times do I have to explain this on here...

DON'T PAY ATTENTION TO BOOKIES ODDS FOR NEXT MANAGER

They mean nothing. People would have seen him on Sky yesterday at the game, put some money on him and this would drive the price right down as these markets are so volatile. The bookies don't have any inside information on this, it's just punters backing him after seeing him at the game.

He won't get the job.

Of this list I want Wise to get it but would be relatively happy if Wilder, Blackwell, Robins or Dyche got the job. Of the rest they are either totally unrealistic (Redknapp, Strachan, Di Canio etc) or would be terrible (Staunton, Connor, Shaw, Carsley, Megson, Whelan). If not Wise, then Wilder, Blackwell, Robins or Dyche from this list please.

The bit that gets me the most is apparently he's scouting for Sunderland. At a league 1 match? Wasn't he at the Burton game too? You'd think after that he'd be able to know that the players aren't worth scouting.

Something smells fishy to me.
