Love Vik but doubt there are many other clubs where he would get away with being so selfish. Works here because he is the main man but walking into any other bigger club he would have to earn that right, I think he will have a bit of a shock. Instances like Palmer's goal he really should have got out the way and trusted Kasey to shoot
He's not selfish.
He's got the job of being a one man attack and he does it better than any other striker in this league would do it.

Both are true. He has so much to do but he’s greedy, doesn’t lift his head up and plays very much for himself.

Yep this is where I'm at with Vik. Great player and he is the main (frankly only) focus of our attack. He needs to back himself but there have been more than a few instances where he has taken on a shot when squaring it would put a team mate in.

As I said I don't begrudge him that especially here where he is the main man. Just think his next move he'll need time to establish himself. You don't usually walk into a team as the big man from the off

Whats he supposed to do? He’s isolated on his own and is the only player who created anything for us. Everything goes through him

Like I said both are true. He’s a victim of carrying too much but at the same time there are so many times when he has a simple 8 yard pass to a full back when he’s pinned in the corner or a square pass when he’s running down a tunnel and he inevitably ends up giving it away.

Not great but only one loss in there. Chin up we have shit runs every season and have consistently pulled it around

The defence without McF has gone to pieces. The attacking play without O’Hare has gone down the pan too.

Neither are going to be replaced. People have laughed at the idea we won’t win 5 more this season but with those being the salient facts I struggle to see them. Next Saturday is big.

If he hasn’t got any serious money to put into the club we are basically as we were with SISU. And it really begs the question as to why he’s here-because we look in big need of cash and he’s said he isn’t spending it.

I've said it before, but this situation has been 2 transfer windows in the making.
Now that might not be on King, but realistically the only chance he's got to affect improvement in the next 6 or 7 months is to allow Robins to recruit in the next 11 days.

If he doesnt then were going to be in big trouble next season unless we have a spctacular summer window.

Anything else, offices in Ryton, being hands on etc is just bluster.

We need championship quality reinforcements now.

Huge overhaul needed. I’m praying that Ben Wilson’s contract renewal was an eye for him to be number 2 next season.

Players we need to move on

- Moore
- Dabo
- Rose (won’t happen)
- Walker
- Waghorn
- kane
- da Costa
- Kelly
- Gyokeres

It’s clear that King doesn’t have sheikh style money and we need to be smart. We have to cash in on Vik and build a championship squad/

Mid-table the goal for this season but build some solid foundations and invest in a championship squad.

If I recall CVD we both agreed that reinforcements were needed this time last year. Well, for 2 windows we’ve done the opposite. He needs to get his cheque book out.

If he doesn’t he is no different to what came before. And if he isn’t helping Ashley get the club, we’ll be down this season or the next.

How do you know neither are going to be replaced? Granted it will be hard especially in January but there are 10 days left of the window. Calm down

Without a single CB under contract, O’Hare out until Christmas, and Vik either sold or heading towards a free transfer, I’m expecting a very difficult season in 2023/24.

Because they are both very difficult players to replace and if our plan is to try it on the cheap, good luck.

Yeah, it was obvious this time last year we did nothing and pretty much the same in the summer.
We played Peterboro around this time last year, and we thought we needed reinforcements then, we'll the bench that day was incredible compared to what we had today.

Made sense to stick to the formation after we bettered Burnley for a good chunk of the game, but we'll revert to a back three next game, so more secure. Fadz back soon to aid that. We'll have depth at wing back at last. The two we've brought in haven't even played there yet, and one's coming back from injury. Godden and Walker coming back so at least some depth up front, and probably another attacking option added after Waghorn was shipped out. There's plenty of time with ten days left of the window, and we don't know how far gone any negotiations could be already. In a few games we'll have our strongest eleven back, other than O'Hare. We were definitely getting relegated after 5 games. Stop worrying, we'll be fine

Playing devil's advocate, it probably worked at Burnley in that first half as they weren't expecting it and took them by surprise. They tweaked it at half time and thoroughly outplayed us in the second half. It wasn't a surprise to Norwich so they could prepare and plan against it.

Don’t think the season is over because I think we’re in a battle to stay up.

Accepting Norwich are a yo-yo team but were they that good or were we awful?

There’s no options on the bench and I’m not sure Robbins is even happy with the starting 11.

Don’t know what to make of Doug but that press conference hardly screamed exciting times ahead. If he’s serious he’ll invest now otherwise his ‘investment’ is going down fast.

I'd cash in Vik this transfer window, find someone as a temporary replacement or buy some hot talent from league one, the squad needs an overhaul which can be done in the summer.

We slow our own progress by offering new contracts to new players who don't deserve them, Jones, Allen, Wilson etc.

Relegation battle is still on. We're the worst team in the league on current form and squad.

Don't worry, Robins says we have players back in training next week. Walker will be like a new signing.
