Possibly , I think bielsa has history of going into a team , using the same players and making them alot better , did brilliantly with Leeds in the first couple years

Also has a history of integrating young academy talent

But back on CCFC, the last time we had a change of owner Dowie was sacked and replaced with Coleman. We were about 12th in the table. Higher than we are now.

This was only a few months after we’d paid Dowie’s Legals and turned down potential compo from (Mandaric?) Leicester. Poor SISU decision to not even let Dowie have some time, after all, he’d not long got Palace promoted without huge money. SISU decisions weren’t very good from then on so it was a sign of things to come.

Let’s be glad that the new owner isn’t such a fool.

I cannot see West Ham letting him be interviewed although they might want to get rid on current form.As for Dyche and Rooney one win every three in Dyche case (with sh1t football )and one in four in Rooney's case at a championship side and his record in America is worse than Andy Thorne for us. If they chose any of those three they deserve all they get

SISU took over 14 December 2007, Dowie was sacked in February 2008 after 2 wins in 10 games (3 in 15 if you include 5 games prior to SISU's takeover). The trajectory under Dowie really was awful, so I think it was right to sack him but catastrophically wrong to appoint Coleman.

Coleman wasn't necessarily bad in himself, had actually done alright with Fulham compared to Tigana's last months, but what he'd done there was set up a backs to the wall spirit that fought for ground out results based on defence. With us, he was expected to actually win games by breaking teams down.

Ironically Coleman's best time as manager with us was when the taps were turned off, and he had to work with what he had (not much!) as the same kind of mentality came along a bit.

Now, if only he hadn't had such fondness for Freddie Eastwood...
