It's now down to two.

Ince and Robins.

Has to be Robins surely.

I wish they would just put down one.

That would then have meant Paul Ince had been shot in some mercy killing.

They need to sign the new manager today, it would help motivate the players tonight, and will also give them three training sessions before the weekends match.

Announcement possible today but only if they can agree terms with the preferred candidate.

If they've been reading this board then it will be Robins. He's the clear fans favourite out of the two.

He is indeed.

More to do with the fact though that there are a lot less negative comments from opposing fans about Robins than there are about Ince.

All rather depressing isn't it.

On a previous thread shows a you tube clip with some very unhappy county fans, the personal abuse at Ince was quite shocking but some were still calling him Incey as they told him how crap he was. Has to be Mark Robbins.

I'd be devastated if it's Ince, especially after watching that video of his last game at Notts County. Reminded me of our fans in the days of the final days of Coleman, Boothroyd, Reid etc etc. It's a difficult job, if he couldn't cope at MK Dons or Notts County what chance does he have here? I'm amazed he's got this far in the interviews to be honest, you just have to look at what happened at his previous clubs to realise he's a disaster waiting to happen.

It has to be Robins. No promotion on his CV but so what, it's his qualities as manager that count. Seems a much better fit for a club in our situation, and appears to actually have a brain. Hopefully they won't just look at Ince's promotion at MK Dons and overall win record and decide he's the man to take us forward. Pretty sure Robins is the better manager.

Won't it be strange if this is all a smoke screen, and we get the curved ball... someone who is not even in the betting.

For all those puppet lovers it could hypothetically still be Wise !!
Sisu have not anounced the final three its all media hearsay.
I would like it to be Robins but not ruling anyone out untill the fat lady sings !!!

I don't understand the hatred towards Waggott and Fisher? Yes, they're employed by SISU, but they aren't actually SISU (if that makes sense).

From what I've seen, particularly from Fisher, there is more of an attempt to be more open with the fans. We've cried out for more transparency from those up stairs and as far as I'm concerned, more has come from these two than probably anyone else since we dropped from the Prem. No?

There's seemingly been more Q+A's with the paper than before and although the fans forums have happened before, there seemed to be more positivity coming out of last weeks.

The past few weeks in search for a new manager has been a farce... 3 and half weeks its dragged on for and the club havent't picked up a point since... speaks volumes.
