Coventry goalkeeper Joe Murphy has revealed the players held a meeting recently in regards to their results.
The Sky Blues are joint bottom of the league and are without a win this season as they extended their losing streak to three matches at Tranmere on Saturday.
Murphy also defended caretaker boss Richard Shaw who took the reigns following Andy Thorn's dismissal last month.
"The lads were talking about how you can get used to losing. We played quite well on Saturday and we looked like the team who were going to win it. But it was like Lee Carsley said when one thing goes wrong, things just snowball.
"We need to sort this out very quickly and it isn't Richard Shaw's fault, it's ours really. The two goals we conceded were not good enough and we have to take our chances. It isn't up to a manager to defend and score goals for us.
"But I am sure we will do that as I was in a similar situation at Scunthorpe. After six games, we hadn't won a game but we sorted the problems out and went on to win the league.":jerkit::jerkit::jerkit::jerkit::jerkit::jerkit:
