Will be kompany for manager
Agree, reckon Vik might get the player one based on also being 2nd in the assists list (as it stands). If Akpom gets past 30 goals in the next week and a half they'll probably give it to him though. Will be kompany for manager
How can they be shortlisted before the season finishes?
I see Wilder once again hailed Gyok as the best player in the league yesterday. Of course he managed Akpom too. That probably won't go unnoticed.Agree, reckon Vik might get the player one based on also being 2nd in the assists list (as it stands). The voting has already been done. Managers had to give their top 5 players in order. The EFL already know the winner.Agree, reckon Vik might get the player one based on also being 2nd in the assists list (as it stands). exactly, what if Robins gets us promoted and Gyokeres bangs in 3 hattricks from the last 5 games.
....PUSB
kompany has had it easy had a strong squad worth Millions should be Carrick or our Mark.Kompany and Akpom. End of.
Luton should be in the manager top 3 but if not him then Carrick.
Edwards has done a great job but it's Manager of the Season not half a season.Luton should be in the manager top 3 but if not him then Carrick.
Though TBF that applies to Carrick too albeit they inherited their respective clubs in much different positionsEdwards has done a great job but it's Manager of the Season not half a season.
Yeah, Carrick shouldn't be on there either imo.Though TBF that applies to Carrick too albeit they inherited their respective clubs in much different positions
You could argue Heckinbottom has done a good job too, tbf. Sure, resources again, but last season was a bit of a mess, this season has had financial turmoil rolling away in the background - automatic promotion would maybe be a bigger achievement than he'll get credit for. They could have easily gone Sunderland direction.Yeah, Carrick shouldn't be on there either imo.
He deserves credit as he's turned it around but they had a great squad anyway.
3rd candidate (and 3rd place) should have been Rowett or Lowe I think.
If anything he's done even better than Jones but I take your point.Edwards has done a great job but it's Manager of the Season not half a season.
Agree, they've pissed the league and regardless of the perceived advantages they have it is still difficult to doI think Kompany deserves it really
May well just be me being a grinch but including this season half of the last 10 titles in this league have been won by newly relegated clubs.Agree, they've pissed the league and regardless of the perceived advantages they have it is still difficult to do

For the first 8 games maybeWe will so how good he is next season.
Kompany didn’t get the parachute payments, but still spent £40m, a figure the rest of the league can only dream about. Easy to build a promotion winning team on that, he don’t deserve it imo
If Robins spent 40 million would you expect him to get us promoted? He sold £76m and had to build a new team
