Factor in the mad rate of inflation atm £500 (and I know I’m going to waffle: £500 is about 50 hours min wage work this year, 10% up next year it equals 45 hours, and so on to about 30 odd hours if things continue meaning that season ticket will be cheaper in real terms year on year)That's assuming the prices aren't going to go up in the next 4 seasons after, assuming they do, then people are saving money as the £500 price is fixed.
I probably haven’t explained it properly but it looks like a good deal to lock in the price for the extra £20.
