long way home

We cant worry about anything now regarding the squad or care what the media nuts come up with. Most of this type of shit will be answered within days after of the last whistle blowing in our remaining games. From that point no matter the outcome of the play offs, MR and his staff jobs will become harder. But trying to keep his best players will be priority 1st and foremost, if that cant be done then they have to move quickly to find equally as good or if not better players to add.
MR will be stepping back watching from a distance this week at Ryton, while working with Doug and the recruiting staff on names and potential signing depending on money and the league we are in. The players should not be thinking about agents, next season, contracts or paper talk. They should be kept focused on the job in hand and being relentlessly told to be positive, confident but calm about what's needed on Sunday. The rest looks after itself even the options open to them at the end will become clearer once the dust is settled. Now its Sunday and only Sunday that matters for the players and fans a like. MR, recruiting dept and Doug will have one eye on the next step.
