Slips over and grabs shirt? Doesn’t happen often. Stop making excuses. Just not good enough.

Ah that's okay then. I guess the West Brom played slipped and put his arm out Monday too?

That was a penalty. Not the reason we lost though.

And the offside? That's 2/3 goals against our favour in 5 days.

You can be the best side in history and you're up against it if the ref is giving penalties and offside goals to the opposition and missing clear and obvious penalties.

Or we put our chances away, stop dropping keeper howlers and stop moaning about marginal decisions. Stop being a baby, and let’s be accountable for how we play.

Robins:

'I'm sure we are going to get another letter through to say there was an offside in the build up to second'.

Looks like EFL apologised for their inept decisions on Monday and will be again.

If you're drawing 1-1 and the referee gives the opposition a penalty (goal), there's not much you can do with it.
If the referee is the sole reason we’re not winning games. Fine. It’s not the case. We’re shit and we’re looking for excuses. Let’s control the controllables, then if it’s still the case, you can moan

I mean these are refereeing mistakes directly leading to goals.
They go in our favour too, but funny enough we don’t moan then. The handball was a pen v WBA, the second was offside. Todays is a pen. Everyone moans about marginal decisions. How about we address the actual issues and not blame officials for the fact we’re shit?

Yep.

If we lost but 4/5 then fine, but we lost by 1 and 1 goal was given because the referee and his officials missed and offside (according to Robins) and gave a penalty for a slip.
I will say I thought Wright was offside for both goals. But bizarrely he was flagged on Monday when he wasn’t and clean through

I’ve said we’re in a relegation battle anyway. But 5 referees in a row have been unacceptably poor.

Not necessarily this season though.

We've had an awful lot go against us this season. Dreadful time keeping, clear penalties, offsides. The list goes on.

Let's just hope they go in our favour soon.

My main bone of contention is the Premier League using the Championship as the naughty step for referees after a shit performance. They're human and are liable to make mistakes but they should be dropped altogether for a week.

He wasn't demoted, despite the sensational headlines claiming he was.
If MR is saying we got an apology after Monday & knowing that Preston have had similar in recent weeks, then I assume we were given Taylor to try & appease both parties.

That said, I don't think he was brilliant & the Fadz penalty decision is just plain wrong in law. If he thinks it's a foul it's either:
A) Advantage + Yellow Card
B) Penalty + Red Card
You can't play advantage then after the striker wastes the opportunity give a penalty & a yellow.

I thought it was a penalty from my angle but that was in front of the play and seeing Fadz pushing both hands outward.

From the ref's point of view, you wonder if they will apply a pen first rule knowing that VAR will moderate?

Denying a goal or an obvious goal-scoring opportunity (DOGSO)
Where a player commits an offence against an opponent within their own penalty area which denies an opponent an obvious goal-scoring opportunity and the referee awards a penalty kick, the offender is cautioned if the offence was an attempt to play the ball or a challenge for the ball; in all other circumstances (e.g. holding, pulling, pushing, no possibility to play the ball etc.), the offending player must be sent off.

Has to be red doesn’t it if he’s given the pen

Agreed, otherwise refer to what @Frostie posted, it can't be both though
