That will have hurt them even more
The borderlands,a couple of miles out from my old stomping ground!Long walk home
Well it didn’t help our fans charging at them and going through the Jimmy Hill flag for both goals. We don’t help ourselves sometimes do we.Wondered whether tonight was used as a bit of a pilot to reduce the segregation by singers corner. Has the segregation been as small for any other game this season?
Exactly why we don't need the segregation, if no gap there's nowhere to go. Just a couple of rows of stewards and coppers is sufficient.Well it didn’t help our fans charging at them and going through the Jimmy Hill flag for both goals. We don’t help ourselves sometimes do we.
Prebooked Christmas event in the loungesWhat was the deal with blocks 4 and 8 (??) being empty? Or were they all in the posh bar all game?
But they wont put home fans there because the problem is the concourse. The reason there appears to be so much segregation most of the time is because most of the time only a couple of thousand away tickets are sold.Exactly why we don't need the segregation, if no gap there's nowhere to go. They are pretty much all “hospitality” season tickets - Club Coventry etc. I have no idea where they were accommodated as an alternative. IIRC there was a bit of a fuss when the fixture was moved from today. Are there no ST holders in there?
If that wasn’t the intention, it serves that purpose anyway. It looks like they could have had 6k if they wanted to as well.Wondered whether tonight was used as a bit of a pilot to reduce the segregation by singers corner. Has the segregation been as small for any other game this season?
Last season? The results make the difference. Early on I thought we were going to have to listen to them all night. Not looking forward to Leicester coming. Was the best support they’ve had here for ages, went flat after we started to take control on 20 mins. They knew the writing was on the wall. We’ve got Callum Ohare end of
Club Coventry is only blocks B & E and we didn’t need to move. I think it was Legends and moved to the balcony but not 100% sure. Looked shit on TV though like the ground was empty. They are pretty much all “hospitality” season tickets - Club Coventry etc. I have no idea where they were accommodated as an alternative. Thanks for the correction, I was right in principle but wrong in detail.Club Coventry is only blocks B & E and we didn’t need to move. I think it was Legends and moved to the balcony but not 100% sure. Looked shit on TV though like the ground was empty.
No reason why we can’t beat them - if it wasn’t for the guy with the National Trust name we’d have beaten them away.Last season? The results make the difference. Early on I thought we were going to have to listen to them all night. Not looking forward to Leicester coming.
They were moved to the upper tier, hence why it looked full for the first time this seasonAre there no ST holders in there?
I seen that from the opposite end of the ground and likewise, was utterly disgusted!

I'm a bit annoyed that I've bought a ticket already as I'd have liked to sit thereBlocks 4 and 5 now open for Boxing Day. Should be a 30K crowd as Wednesday in block 11 like Blues were.
Yes it was a pilot, the appetite is to have two small desegregation lines BLK 12+6. Some minority over zealous fans are causing an increased seg width, and the Jimmy Hill banner was damaged beyond repair.Wondered whether tonight was used as a bit of a pilot to reduce the segregation by singers corner. This fixture it was capped at 4k for safety reasons. Damage was minimal and behaviours manageable.Birmingham had an allocation of 4480 in April. View attachment 32733
If it was only that simple, certain operational consideration for policing/stewarding at football based on risk have measured that impact on segregation. Gaps are now essential for Police/stewarding operations. Ideal world, remove some of the minority behaviours that cause a breech of the desegregation line. Jimmy Hill banner is now beyond repair. What do we get instead, more "black netted seats" it looks awful and kills the opportunity to sell seats for revenue.Exactly why we don't need the segregation, if no gap there's nowhere to go. Why are gaps essential here but not at lots of other grounds?...If it was only that simple, certain operational consideration for policing/stewarding at football based on risk have measured that impact on segregation.
