Manager of the Month (3 Viewers)

Been awarded to Leicester manager. Apparently he's won it 3 times in 5 months. Fair play for delivering what's expected and theres no doubt pressures to do that, but the criteria the choosing panel used to pick the winners appears to be almost always who has won the most games. I completely get that in one way and yes there's an argument to not over complicate it. I'm also glad we've avoided the award in one way as we usually lose the very next game. However picking Leicester for the 3rd time and we're only in January feels a bit lazy....they've got arguably the biggest resources in the league and really should be winning most of their games. There are always teams scrapping and over achieving which ought to be looked at more when considering the awards in my opinion.

Wouldn’t swap MR for anyone, most of the ‘big names’ need big budgets. What he has done with the resources he has had is nothing short of miraculous.

This Leicester manager will take them up with flying colours and just like Kompany’s Burnley, will struggle in the Prem if they don’t change tact.

The way they play is perfect when they’re the best team in the league.
