Obviously form goes out the window in the cup, but Wednesdays away form is abysmal.
They have a league game on the Friday of replay week so they will have to rotate a fair bit you’d think.Sheffield wednesday might be putting out a stronger team now too.
When did they get one of those?
You missed out King's LynnSutton... Worcester...Wrexham
Winnable at least
Then again I’m sure Ipswich thought the same
Yes of course we do, what's the point in going to football if you're playing in occasionsHmm not sure about this, great chance to reach an fa Cup quarter final but do we really want the distraction and extra games when going for the play offs which are more important.
How could we play ourselves?Would have love to have got City at home
Ipswich battered them for most of the game, more a freak result than complacency I think.Yeah but Ipswich played the second team, so a lesson learned Mr Robins.
In my time we’ve had shock defeats in the cup to Sutton Utd (played in yellow kits), Cambridge Utd (played in yellow kits).
Remind me what colour do Maidstone Utd play in…
Even then Ipswich really should have won. How often does a team win taking only 2 shots at goal?!Yeah but Ipswich played the second team, so a lesson learned Mr Robins.
Stop letting ‘facts’ get in the way of my superstitions.…the same colour as Oxford I think
Thankfully, they play in amber…In my time we’ve had shock defeats in the cup to Sutton Utd (played in yellow kits), Cambridge Utd (played in yellow kits).
Remind me what colour do Maidstone Utd play in…
I wonder what they would do, unlikely a prospect as it may be.The finals are sat and sun. We will be tired!
Save Man city for the finalSo close to being man city or Luton
The plan is obvious. Don’t give them a shot on goalThe path isn’t clear to the quarter finals, pretty disrespectful to Maidstone.
My wife is an Ipswich supporterThe world and his wife will be rooting for Maidstone
Guilty your honourAgreed however do think it very poor from fans to disregard the fa cup like some have. And then to jump on bandwagon too
But fans right I guess
They have a solid home form but their away form is why they're in the bottom 3. Can see us giving them a thumping at our place.Absolutely nothing guaranteed against Wednesday but I'd hope playing on an actual football pitch means we'll beat them
We beat them away, then slogged out a draw playing a pretty dismal lineup.I think some people are getting a bit ahead of themselves.
We had a great chance on Friday (despite some on here making it out like we didn't), which we screwed up. We aren't through yet, and they'll be taking this leg a lot more seriously now you would think, which means we also have to go hard in a one game knockout. I'm still of the view we can beat them at home, but the pressure will be on us now. Hopefully the two important league games they have either side of the replay will be a bigger focus given the fact they are still in the relegation zone.
We will make the playoffs. Already started to make a gap between us and the teams below. We've just played all the teams above us other than the weakest side WBA and shown we're at least a match for the sides above us.Hmm not sure about this, great chance to reach an fa Cup quarter final but do we really want the distraction and extra games when going for the play offs which are more important.
Wouldn't want to play Mount Nod. I'm still angry about their referee they provided who was totally biased against Stoke Heath cup game back in 1974.Shame we couldn’t draw Mount Nod juniors so Tavares could compete.
