In fairness, the usually reliable HITC are now reporting the same thing. Still seems extremely unlikely though
Hope we've got a ready made replacement lined up, could get interesting if they bid even a third of that.

Has to be bollox why an earth would they pay 15 million plus add ons when they can pick him up for free in a few months time. Why do people make this shit up.
If they offer a decent fee now, then they might have a straight run at trying to make the transfer happen. In the summer they will probably face a lot of competition to sign him on a free. They might also justify a large fee if they think he could be the difference in increasing their promotion chances. A large part will be down too what COH wants to do. He might fancy going on a free in the summer. However, one thing might be on his mind. He’s just come back from injury. If he goes now, then he is secure for the next 4-5 years on decent wages. If he decides to wait and gets badly injured again, then he might have a problem. I'm not saying 15m is correct, but maybe thier is something in the transfer itself.

Can they though?

I'm.not saying I believe it. But they would have him for their run in. If he helped get them into 2nd would be worth every penny. And if he goes on a free why would Southampton be the side he would sign for?

Considering the quality in their midfield, can't see O'Hare even getting a game with Southampton. Same with Leicester. May be a different situation if they're building squads if/when they get promoted but for now, can't see these rumours to have any ounce of fact behind them.

If it does happen I hope they put a caveat that he shouldn’t play against us this season including playoffs

It does remain a tricky proposition for O'Hare in terms of what team would actually take him that could give him Premiership football - at least in England. The boomerang teams on their way back up at the first time of asking (Leicester, Leeds, Southampton) seem really unlikely because they don't desperately need him and he's unlikely to feature in their first team.

In January, perhaps it's teams that are very likely to go down and will need to shed some players off the wage bill in the summer and rebuild a bit - anyone from the bottom 5-6 but perhaps really Burnley, Sheff Utd, Luton & Forest.

There’s always one that drops from the middle I’m going to stick my neck out and tip Fulham, they are on a little bit of a wobble and they do play two of the bottom four next two games.

He’s waiting for the Wembley bus before he tells us his decision.

I do wonder how he’ll cope with being away from his family and friends, People in his lives will not change theirs just to keep him happy. So he’ll probably be doing a lot of travel if he signs for anyone outside the Midlands.

Exactly what happens to all football players these days. Gone are the days of staying at a club for most of your career. Even the vast majority of managers move frequently.

I still haven't changed my mind. We go up he stays unless a big club comes in for him. We don't go up he leaves. It isn't about money. It's about playing at the highest level you can. The money just happens to go with the level you play at.

I would of thought the picture will become clearer on him tonight. If he is starting i would think is highly unlikely it will be his last game for us.

If he is on the bench that will raise questions, if he is sitting in the stands then its goodbye. Few hours to find out .

I tend to disagree.

We need a bit of squad rotation. Let some of our players have a rest but maybe keep them on the bench incase it isn't going to plan. O'Hare was out for a long time. His fitness levels won't be as good as it would be without being out for a long time then coming back. You can train as hard as you like but there's nothing like getting game time. The best time to rest players is in the easier games.

I trust Robins to do the right thing. He knows more than us.

Hamer played against Wimbledon when he'd already got his first pot of gravy from Sheffield

Deadline day passed and (thankfully) he's still here.

Feel like posting on all these SM sites you know fuck all so stop fishing for clicks.

Lets hope we can crack on now and have a real go, dare say it's the only way we'll ultimately keep him.

Tbh we'd be stupid not to put in whatever release clause they want. Some million is better than no million.

Agreed. It’s quite clear at this point he has no intention of signing, unless we go up.
