Yeah, I would play him further up.

He really should excel against this level of opposition.
I wouldn't. I'd play him at left back and have him bombing forward. We're not going to need to sit back so Dasilva feels the better option for this game.

Don’t risk Torp, MvE, Wright or O’Hare who have all had injuries this season. Maybe Lusala in at RWB but I’d also want as many from last night out as possible to try and shake off the loss. Wilson, lovely man, never want to see him in a City shirt again.
Yeah I’d put Lusala in for Thomas and have Latibeaudiere at CB. Ideally we need a way to rest Eccles too but the only senior players left are Bidwell and Tavares?!

If they come for a battle, we have nothing.

It’s the type of opposition Palmer will excel against - his skill and guile against non professional opposition will be fine

Dasilva at AM, Palmer at CM? 😬

343 with Tavares and Simms each side of Godden?

Lusala Thomas Kitch Bidwell
Kelly Eccles
O’Hare
Palmer Simms Wright

Don’t go three at the back against these please.

And yes I’d take MVE out for this one. Best thing he’s done since Leicester are the fist bumps at end of each game. Let’s see if Lusala has got anything about him.

Basically throwing the WBA game doing this.

Seems everyone is expecting 4-3-3. Is he really going to force 4-3-3 without a winger in our squad? Can Palmer and Taveres continue to be played there?

Would do us the world of good to go and thrash these. And I don’t care what anyone says about them beating Ipswich because we really should be putting a few past them. And before anyone mentions Wrexham, they should never have been playing in national league. Maidstone well below their level.

Taking nothing for granted but we must start on the front foot in order to try and restore some much needed confidence after last night. Get early goal and keep pressing. Our superior all round skill and fitness should tell but Maidstone will be playing their most important game and with a good following of real fans and day trippers they won’t be a walkover

If we were doing that, I'd be tempted to give Lusala a run out instead of Lati.

Just as a side note, not for you but in general. I'm not sure how hammering Maidstone (if we do) would shake off what happened last night. We are expected to beat them and beat them comfortably. Also playing everyone again, just gives us another "tired" excuse for Fridays game.

Excellent, the thread where we decide Tavares and Kelly are not up to Maidstone level is here at last.

This silly feud with Kelly needs to come to an end.

We're crying out for a bit of leadership and mental strength. Start him from the beginning and let him get some match fitness for the upcoming games.

He’s been injured? Infected foot or something. Why has everything got to be blown up into a “feud”? We aren’t the Daily Mail.

We’re going to have to play some people three times. GK and CB I think are least affected hence the three at the back. Eccles, Lats, Lusala, hell I’d play Tavares there if needed. We can rotate Torp in for a half if needed to give Eccles a rest. Or as I suggested earlier

Collins
Thomas Kitching Binks
Lusala Palmer Kelly Dasilva
Tavares Godden Simms

That’s about as much rest as possible I think.

I’m in Budapest for this one. Think we might have a couple of posters based there. Bar recommendations welcome if anyone has local knowledge/is going out to watch it. Thanks.

I don't know when this latest injury surfaced, but his original one he came back from in November. Since then he's been an unused sub in many games stretching back a series of months and wasn't picked once. It's pretty clear Robins doesn't really want to play him.

There's been plenty of opportunities where we've needed him, unless you are trying to tell me he has been injured for the whole season. Something I doubt is the case as there was a lot of talk that he was going out on loan to get playing time...

If Maidstone are 3-0 down in 30 minutes I will have a bit more sympathy now.
Play our best available team, I include Bobby Thomas in that I put yesterday as just a bad day at the office. I’d definitely play the defence he hopes to play v West Brom.
Goalkeeper ? That’s one for Robins to sort.

Yup, he hasn't favoured Kelly for some time, but last night I think it was a needs must situation.

I’d go
Collins
Lati Thomas Kitching Bidwell
Eccles Kelly
Wright O’Hare Palmer
Simms

Then take off Wright, O’Hare, Palmer and Simms early if we are winning comfortably.
