Leicester would absolutely hate getting us away. it’s almost worth it😉
I’d prefer to get one of the ‘big’ teams away though. I guess the players would to(?)

After the results last night, its looking like every team left in will be pretty mouth-watering (especially if Wolves beat Brighton)

Newcastle
Leicester
Man City
Chelsea/Leeds
Forest/Manchester United
Liverpool
Wolves/Brighton

There isn't a "poor" tie in there.

As long as we avoid Man City and Liverpool I’m happy enough. After watching them last night I think Newcastle at home is my preferred draw.

Have to confess, I felt really dirty last night just checking on Google to see how Folkestone Invicta got on against Potters Bar.

0-0 for anyone that is interested.
I check Folkestone's results regularly.....one of my mates is from there which is the only link

Worst possible draw is Leicester home or away

I fancy us at home v anyone other than Man City or Liverpool

If we want a day out we want United or Chelsea away

Remember I’m only 26. The last time we had played them would have been when Westwood saved the Ebanks Blake penalty I believe. Would have only been about 11/12

The fact that a 26 yo was 11 when Westwood played for us makes me feel incredibly old

I don't get the "Leicester is the worst possible draw stuff."

What am I missing? 🤔

We beat them here and were the best side at theirs too for most of the game and should have got at least a draw.

Surely them at home gives us the best opportunity of making the semi-finals doesn't it?

Quarter finals are an awkward one.

We’re only 90 mins from Wembley so winning would be the priority, so playing the next lowest ranking team would be ideal.

Unfortunately that team is likely to be Leicester, who none of us want to play again.

Think I’d rather someone like Forest at home if by some chance they win tonight

Yeah, Forest would be my second choice.

I would want to have another go at Leicester though. Beat them last time and would love the opportunity to do it again.

I don't get the logic. Away to Man C would lead to an absolute battering. Leicester at home, although clearly a really tough game, would be a genuine opportunity to reach a semi-final at Wembley.

I think our performance peaked at home to them, we haven't performed brilliant since. Hopefully Sheaf and Allen are back for the 6th round

I think it's probably different if you are a regular at away games and intend to go to the game. Personally I am very unlikely to go so a big away day at one of the big clubs holds no fun for me. If we go to Anfield or Stamford Bridge we are likely to get smashed ad be out. I would absolutely want to play a Championship side at home and have the best chance of winning. I would say Southampton and Leicester are the best bets. Shame Hyam ballsed-up last night as Blackburn would have been the easiest game for us.

Mind you, we haven't played anyone above us in the league yet. If you're going to go far you have to beat a decent team at some point...

Leicester would be the most boring draw. Leeds not much better.
Getting battered at Wembley doesn’t over appeal to me tbh. My pick would be Liverpool away.
When’s the last time we played at Anfield?

I totally agree, Leicester is a really bad option.

My choice now is Wolves at home. I doubt very much we can progress on the likely remaining 7 teams. Might sound negative but don't want to see us get thrashed by the top of Premier teams.

Newcastle as a day/night out , a very good option.

Home draw has to be best for us.

But if we are not as potent as we were and are not at the same level, I still think you want to play the team that gives you the best chance of progressing.

The harder the team, the more awful the result could be.

And if we play at our very best, we are still most likely to get absolutely trounced by the big boys.

It's just one game and I think, even if we haven't been as good lately, we can raise our performance for one single game against Leicester, surely.

Teams do raise their game in cup matches. That's how you get upsets. But we know we wouldn't be able to raise it enough to beat Liverpool or Man City, no matter how brilliant we were on the day.

Still rooting for Leicester at home as far as I am concerned.

But we could get Leicester in QFs and then, say Forest in the semi, the Leeds in the final.

Why invite on a battering at Anfield?

We’re going to be underdogs whatever the game.

I’ve never been to Anfield, Old Trafford or Stamford Bridge so ticking one of those off with cov would be my preference. And if we won it would be legendary.
