Collins 5 at fault for first
Bidwell 6 tried hard
Van ewijk 8 one of best games in a cov shirt in multi positions
Lati 5 struggled
Thomas 9 immense
Kitching 4 had a shocker
Eccles 6 bit unlucky to be hooked
Sheaf 8 showed Bruno how to be a captain
O hare 7 improved
Wright 7 off the pace a lot but moments of quality
Simms 8 Utd made him look like haaland

torp 8 excellent
JDs 7 very good
Tavares 7 bright
Binks 7 did well
Godden 6 did his bit but rusty in front of goal

bench power turned the game today and switch to 4 at the back, I don’t know why we played a 3, Utd deserved no respect they were time wasting at 1nil

excellent performance am proud of the team

Everyone gets a 10 for what was a toenail away from the greatest FA Cup comeback of all time.

Antony can get in the bin for an embarrassing cupping of the ears after their win. The muted celebrations after the winning penalty summed it up!

Collins had a good game , to blame him for the first is incredibly harsh . He made a number of very important saves and blocks and could do nothing about Uniteds 2nd and 3rd goals . Let’s not start some sort of bullshit witch-hunt about a decent championship goalkeeper

Bar the first which did look a bit soft Collins had a great game, 2 or 3 top saves and a good stop in the shootout.

He is a good Championship keeper
The argument that we need to improve on him is nonsense . Another goalkeeper to compete with him would be nice but I’d be happy to go into next season with him and Wilson again

Sheaf absolutely outstanding, as was Thomas.

Wright, Simms and COH caused them lots of problems.

Subs changed the game, thought JDS, Tav, Torp and Binks were all top class.

Eccles and Van Ewijk kept us together in the first half.

Hard to be objective really, obviously wasn’t watching it like a normal game. Pretty clear that Robins set us up all wrong with the 3ATB and we showed them far too much respect. Once we took the game to them we were irresistible. I assume the plan was always for us to change tack mid-game for the element of surprise, but ideally you don’t want to be three goals down before that happens….

MVE was a total machine. Torp looks like a wonderkid again. Simms can be the league’s top scorer if he keeps this up. I’m sad for these players not to get the adulation that victory would have bought, but I’m glad I’ll be watching them for us next season.

East to get romantic after that performance.
But the hard question for MR is where do we add 3 or 4 quality signings to make a significant step forward?
Needs to be some tough decisions.
Probably a new keeper, centre back, no 10. Maybe CM.
