What am I missing? He always seems a popular and vocal figure in the unseen videos
It’s the same claims that were pushed at the start of the season if he was dropped. It’ll have next to no impact if he leaves the club; he’s a lower league #2.

Wilson was the beneficiary of Moore having an absolute mental meltdown, as well as because being behind an incredibly resilient defensive line.
He deserved his golden glove for sure, but I don’t think he’s the level of keeper we need to escape the Championship.

Well that's bollocks, not saying he is perfect and it's time for a change for both parties.. but he is a steady enough Championship keeper and would walk into any League 1 team. He won the golden glove last season. He'll have plenty of teams after him.

More to this than meets the eye. Wilson is likely unhappy he got dropped for less than the fuck ups Collins made and yet kept his place but oth he benefitted from Moore not playing , and Wilson is an intelligent enough guy i would think not to have meant to have a pop at the management as he would realise he would look like an absolute twat and other clubs would probably steer clear if they read it.
Moore clearly was popular with the players, Robins liked him as well, he mentioned he stayed up all night at hospital with Sakamoto when he hurt his back, which he didnt need to do.
Everyone knows there were off field issues. What we do not know is what may have been going on as a result of those off field issues that was kept quiet but was very difficult for Moore to deal with. In fairness to Wilson, he probably couldnt word what he said how he wanted to for legal reasons but obviously how it looks seems as if it is a pop at the management hence why he has now deleted it.
Wilson is right though, Moore is a top lad and hope he gets a good gig at another club and can rebuild his career, and same applies to Wilson as he deserves 1st team football and he is good enough for the Championship. We however are now looking at the Premier League and so we need to get a top keeper in who is PL standard, maybe a PL loan with an mandatory option to buy should we go up.

He’s hardly a steady Championship keeper, he’s played around a season at this level. He’ll probably end up in League One but to claim he’s a character who’ll be hugely missed is bollocks- I doubt any players who are here next season will be bothered he’ll be out the door.

Probably a slightly silly thing for Wilson to post as it's easily misinterpreted, but I'm pretty sure it's not aimed at MR or the staff. There's massive respect both ways with Moore & everyone associated with the club.
Yep spot on. To me its blatantly obvious what he means, but i'm not going to mention it on here.

Harsh business, one year you are named top keeper in the league next you are out on your arse.

Probably best we clear the decks a bit Keeper wise. Wilson needs to play and I'm sure he'll get offers off the back of his accolades last season.

I do wonder if we'll miss another big character in the changing room though
He was never top keeper in the league though, let’s be honest. Had a decent start but was absolutely dreadful towards the end of the first season with us and carried that on into the following season. Granted, by all accounts had some awful stuff going on in his personal life but he was still shite.

It's daft of Wilson to post it, but I'm pretty sure he's referring to Moore's personal life rather than how he was treated by the club.
If so then that would be incredibly insensitive which I doubt he would do.

From what we are told Wilson is annoyed at Robins et al because he has bought a new house in the area because he was not aware the club want to move him on …. He must also rightly feel that Collins form should have given him more match time towards the end of the season .

I think it’s just frustration coming out …

So what happened in Moores personal life ? I know he likes a drink by the looks of it

We have no idea what his comment means or what happened to Moore. By all accounts it was pretty bad and his wife was involved.

Not out place to cast judgement over Wilson based on a insta comment.

The problem is most fans are oblivious to players having a personal life. Players are football robots who should be on form for every game and worship Coventry City FC

Disagree, Wilson is responding to Moore's statement that he is leaving Cov, not sure what his personal life has to do with that. I think something has happened at the club

I think (and hope) Moore and Wilson will have little trouble finding other clubs, both are decent on their day. Moore had major issues and wasn't helped by being left in the side when he should of been left out sooner while he got his off field problems sorted.

Wilson is a good enough championship keeper, and a popular squad member, but it's probably time he found a new challenge.

As for Collins, his form of late means he may find himself on the bench next season.
All in all it doesn't look good for the goalkeeping coach, so maybe that position is also under threat.
