All the people saying we would have put up a fight today clearly missed the end of the season

You're taking the piss?

Our performance in the FA Cup shadowed performing in the league that was more of a long shot than last season, which again was a fluke.

i'd like to think we would have got something out of today if we'd played the man city that turned up. but we'll never know.
fair play to united, though. they played well today. the bastards.

Saw something interesting today, Man City threw the game to let Man U into the CL/Europe?

Makes sense when you look at our SF.

Understood people were bitter. But some theories I’ve read today, and “the losers of the semis won the final” are pathetic.

Pretty accurate though isn't it?

I'd rather have been dicked 5-0 by City in the final, than be cheated out of a chance to play for the FA Cup...

Not really. We ultimately lost the game. People should’ve been past it ages ago.

If Wan-Bisakas foot wasn't drawn over, or they took it from the end of O'Hares scoop, or it was clear n obvious, or they'd decided to scrap VAR before, or if they pick and choose when to use VAR, or it depends when they use VAR on which stage of the competition... then I'd probably be over it.

That's before the Man U players crying and the officials giving the winning goal.

If Haji was a yard/clearly offside, I'd be able to get it. Quite simple really.

They've spent just as much as City to achieve fuck all, so it's not as much of a flex that they won.

(If we'd of lost to wolves, I'd of probably preferred they won over City from a "footballing" point of view, but ultimately its the same financial shite)

Practise all you like. No amount of penalties at a training ground is the same as penalties in front of a full Wembley + millions of viewers.

Any professional will tell you.
This ^^ add to what Robins said about resetting focus and adrenaline levels after thinking you'd got a last minute winner.

Factor in that we lost both coin tosses we were fecked

That rule needs changing, if you get to pick what end, then the other team gets to go first automatically. I'd support that on the winning end of the toss.

The supporters end always had the advantage regardless.

fair. point. but it can't hurt. especially if you have forfeits if you miss.
there's only so many times you can jog around the training ground. might help focus the mind a bit.
