I’d say 10M is fair in current market conditions however now they’ve been relegated, that drops the value dramatically. Depends how much we want him if at all. 3-5M may be good business.
I thought he'd be around £4 million, rumoured £2 million would have been incredible business. £10 million... well, no one is paying that.

No one paying 4 either for league 1 player.

Suspect it’s club desperately trying to drive price up.

We literally paid £4m+ for Kitching and EMC
Fair point! Forgot that!

Guess my thought was someone who’s not overly torn it up and just been relegated.

EMC posting good numbers and LK also had good rep and history.

Rudoni a lot greener.

We should not be entertaining spending much on trying to pursue him imo.

I think he's worth 4 tbh when I consider the kind of money we expect for our players. Whether we'd pay it or think we can get better value elsewhere I'm not sure. I'll back what they decide as I think we've recruited very well recently, but it sure as shit won't be £10 million.

We can do so much better than Rudoni for £4m if we look to Europe. Get a player who can score and create instead of one who is hated by some of his own fans.

Got 12 goals and 5 assists in a Wimbledon team that got relegated from L1. That’s a decent return aged 20. £2m would have been a snip.

While I don't disagree, you do have to be very careful. Plenty of complete fuck up signings from abroad happen. Also the word of social media oddballs is meaningless, if you listened to quite a number of our fans at one point or another you'd think Sheaf, Wright, Simms etc were absolutely hopeless... I doubt we'd sell any of the 3 for less than £15 million right now!

Rudoni has a better rep and experience than both of those

I rate Rudoni but the only point of signing him would be for a low price to then have the opportunity to develop him then sell later down the line. Pointless spending any more than £2million on him as he is not the finished article by any means

I don’t agree that our transfer policy should be confined to making profits on players. We will never build a promotion team like that. You need a balance of youth and experience and a few top quality talents that are only likely to come from loans.

Signing too many prospects on long contracts will result in gradual decline as you can't get rid of the ones that don't work and are on long contracts. In the end you have a bloated and expensive squad of players who aren’t good enough. We need a balanced transfer policy.

I don’t know whether Rudoni is worth pursuing although I thought he looked by far their best player against us and seems a talented player.

The question should be will he improve the team not just can we make some short term money on him. We need to be far more strategic.

I don’t think the club have said that is our policy.

if the Browne rumours are true that would suggest we are looking for that mix.

No and I do hope we aren't going to be that simplistic. In my view it would be disastrous long term.

Part of me thinks its the we offer 2m, they want 10m, we end up.paying 4 or 5m and DK looks like a negotiating god

The £2m figure is purely from John Harrison isn’t it? It just got picked up by a load of idiot Twitter grifters and treated as fact.

My Peugeot is 2010 and running better than ever after a fuel faux pas, done the lakes and Wembley no trouble, can't believe it tbh.

Sorted disks and pads myself but don’t feel comfortable unplugging the sump and changing the filters.
