I can only assume because the game was so bad that there's nothing else to talk about.

Armstrong clearly steps across the defender to deliberately initiate the contact. The defender can't simply disappear. Not a penalty in a million years.

I listened to a small talk sport piece and one of them said a stat basically saying in only 2 of southgates 60 odd games have we pressed less than these previous two. To combine a lack of a press with the second worst xg is so shite

I'd argue as a striker you should be trying to put your body infront of the player , personally that's a penalty and if it was coventry we'd want it

The defender looks to nudge him into the keeper who's flying out.

Never a pen for me either. Armstrong basically gave up trying to score and just looked for the pen instead.
