Allen and Eccles for me. But I like Torp and don’t have a problem if he starts.

I’m really looking forward to seeing Rudoni and EMC in their first competitive matches for us. I’m not sure if EMC will start but if not I hope Robins gives him 30 minutes, as he will be great against a tiring defence.

He will start Wright not fit enough yet

I think I may have misread your post.

I read it as “He will start Wright” the “not fit enough yet” bit referring to EMC.

On reflection I think you meant “He (meaning EMC) will start” with the “not fit enough yet” bit referring to Wright.

Tricky chaps words!

I think this season will be the first that we've got a squad big enough for Robins to trust the subs, so reckon we'll see 5 subs today!

Its not our strongest 11 but it should be enough to see off a poor looking Stoke team.

It will be interesting who is left out of the squad, which is a sign of depth. Unless there is any injuries, I would assume the subs will be Collins or Wilson, Latibeudiere, Da Silva, one of Torp, Eccles or Allen, Palmer, EMC or Wright and Asante-Thomas. That would mean Tavares would not be involved.
When Sheaf is fit and Kitching available it will be even more competitive.
Though I’n optimistic, I’m among the many who still feels that we need another central midfielder and an experienced defender in this window to take to another level higher.

Agreed but I do have a theory

Eccles, whilst improving massively last season, looks poor without Sheaf. Alongside Sheaf, Eccles is able to play more freely, advance more. When Sheaf isn't alongside him Eccles never seems as assured for me

However what it does show is we absolute need another CM in. An injury to Sheaf and we're starting Jamie Allen
Allen started in 80% of the games in the play off season, it's bizarre how he's looked at as some weak link
