A poor performance. Disappointing start to the season. But it is only the first game

Allen was poor. Despite people making out he's class he's not really. What he is is a quality league 1 player and a decent championship player. As squad rotation he has a role. But starting first game of season is clearly not ideal

Robins is going to have to get us attacking more if he wants playoffs consistently. I'm sure it will come with time

I thought dovin and binks were both good. Rudoni worked hard but not much came off for him.

Subs all poor.

On to the next one. Now we have a strong squad we can't actually throw the towel on Tuesday even if robins wanted too. Let's go for the win

Well, what a disappointment.

The one thing we didn't want was a defeat coupled with a poor performance.

We were much better in the second half for sure and that goal came completely out of the blue and against the run of play, but the bottom line is here, we barely created anything, for all the possession we had.

Awful start to the campaign, because that was so deflating after all the positive vibes leading into the season.

Poor.

That was shit. Marginally better in the second half, but never looked like scoring, whilst Stoke managed to create 3-4 really good chances.

Not writing us off, but it does feel like we have strengthened the squad but if you were going to pick our best outfield starting line up, the only difference from last season is Rudoni for O'Hare.

Better second half but fizzled out after their goal. Didn't see anyone looking to get the game by the scruff of the neck. No visible leaders out there.
Thomas was dreadful and our midfield was poor.

MR doesn't know his best team evidently. It might be about now we will miss Viveash to kick some arses…..
And some say we don’t need Sheaf FFS !

Shocking performance. Looked nothing like the team we saw in preseason that was on the front foot and threatening. So pedestrian.

How can you spend £40-odd million on signings and Jamie fucking Allen is still starting games.

Cause none of the £40m was for midfielers

A day to forget. No need to overreact. I'm confident that we will put it to bed next week.
Oxford beat Norwich 2-0. If we lose next week, it;'s going to look bad. Another slow start.

I wonder when the Viveash comment would come

Not going to shit the bed over one game, but that was pretty shite. Not sure if we were just a bit reserved with it being the first game, but a lot of players were off it. Not a fan of the midfield line up either, and the subs seemed a bit weird and pre-cooked again. If we've got all these first team coaches now, I hope that can get sorted out.

Fuck it off. On to next week.

It is what it is. Stoke still have a wage budget twice as ours. They aren't the mugs people made out.

Referee spent 90 minutes deciding to give them whatever they wanted. It was like he was told by the police not to give anything to us as they'd spend the day smashing up their own town like last Saturday.

Midfield was poor but Sheaf will be back and it will open eyes to the importance of an extra addition.

Rudi not quite the genius he's been in pre-season and Torp was woeful.

actually pissed about that. All the talk of starting well and it’s another downer of a start.

Both our CB’s look like liabilities. Allen is a waste of space

Not looking promising

Thought we just played with a lack of urgency. Poor final decisions. At least we stamped ourselves on it a bit better 2nd half. Van Ewijk was our best player by a mile. I think Kitching and Binks will be our long term cb pairing.

When you say you not writing us off and followed it with but means you are writing us off
