Premier league standard for me. One of our most important players and ever since he's gone out to the left cutting in he is at times unplayable

This time last year I couldn't stand the bloke

I don't think I've ever been more wrong on a player (and I'm often wrong)

He has pace, strength, technical ability, is now a lot more lethal in the box, and all round a fantastic player

We all thought Vik would be impossible to replace but I really think in Haji and Simms, not only have we replaced but we've actually gotten better

Yes thought he was very good last night

He's fantastic running onto the ball as both his goals showed last night , his decision making when players are infront of him at times can be frustrating but surely still worked on .

But his importance to the team is there to see , he's a goalscorer

I fancy him to beat his tally from last season

Born to score goals. Just like Simms.

I said similar to my wife last night. He was an absolute monster at times against Oxford, but there are still times where if he can't cut across the box to his right (and potentially shoot) or try to beat his man down the line, he just turns and casually passes it back to someone else, which loses some of the momentum.

At least these passes seem to actually go to our players now though. Last season that was not always the case 😅

Guess it’s another case of enjoy him whilst he’s here! Another season to work on his weaknesses then he’ll be off and we will be £25mill richer.

Could have easily scored 4 last night and should have assisted Simms but just played too hard across the box.

I know Oxford can take courage from the game but with 63% odd possession and 3 goals as well as many, many chances, last night could have easily been 7-2

Haji was a constant thread. He tired towards the end but he has everything. Pace and ability to use both feet. Can assist and score.

Critically as well he’s very powerful when attacking crosses with his head.

He was superb last night, ran his socks off, looked great doing it, and on another day he'd have had an assist to his name as well as a couple of goals for the one he put on a relative plate for Simms to just miss getting on to.

He must have been absolutely knackered by the end, but still had the presence of mind to be switched on for the possibility of a mistake. Took it cool as you like. And even after that, got back to put in a really good bit of defending to help see the game out.

When he really puts on the accelerator as he did several times yesterday, the pace he reaches is incredible. If he can replicate it more often he’ll have defenders on toast.

Tbf He and Simms were both shit for the first part of last season, all credit to both for turning it round.

If they continue in the form they hit at their peak last season we are in for a treat.

This time last year he'd skinned 3 players and smashed the bar away at Leicester after coming on as a sub and then scored at home on his debut. How could you not stand him!

I seemed to notice more than normal last night how brilliant he was at receiving and controlling the ball. Passes were being flown at him at height and pace from all over and he just seemed take the ball down from his chest to his feet without any disruption to his run or movement.

If was actually concerning how bad he was at the start of last year. Looked like he couldn’t run, no strength, awful first touch. Exact opposite to now. Just shows that time is needed with players. Absolutely superb last night yet he could’ve had 4.
