If we tighten up , then anything is possible
It’s more our ability to kill games off that worries me. For all our dominance yesterday it still took a 95th minute winner to win what is, on paper, our easiest game of the season. Sloppiest obviously to blame for letting them back into the game, but they shouldn’t have even been given the opportunity. Game should have been dead by HT.

That is a pretty good weekend for us, I think we can forget about bouncy Burnley as they are going to keep going up and down for the next few seasons.

The league is wide open this year .. Burnley looking the major outlier
Totally agree. Thats why we are so so close - a quality midfielder who’s dynamic /screens back 4 along side sheaf and then experience at back we could do it.

big if, we need these additions. Come on Doug!!

It wouldn't be Sheffield United if there was no aimless, stupid hoof. If the club was human it would be sat in a corner in a wheelchair dribbling and pissing it's pants.

They really don't even realise the damage they've done today with their shit attitude.
After last season people were looking positively at playing at a lower level, with better players, or at least better footballing type of players.

Most teams in control of a game at 2-0 up will find that the other team creates a chance, or gets a corner or something and it's no big deal, but with United if an opponent puts five good passes together and forces a corner, the entire gameplan is completely fucked and the aimless, stupid hoof starts again.

It just won't go away, and all it takes for United to lapse back into HOOF is a team that presses for a few seconds.
The panic, stupidity, crap decision making, passing the buck, and HOOF starts immediately as soon as a team (ANY TEAM) steps it up a bit, and when HOOF happens it doesn't go away, every game is just United hoofing it clear and the opponent bringing it back at us again and again until we finally concede.

Even intelligent, footballing types of players lapse into it when they arrive at this club, it's a problem that nobody wants to stamp out which makes you wonder if it is actually encouraged.
