Tottenham are only famous for two things. Losing to us in 87 and knife crime. Be nice to see Van Ewijk pocket Son though

No agenda just saying.. I've always seen him say in interviews that he supported Man U and there's loads of vids of him wearing a man utd shirt as a kid etc but never a cov one! But interesting I will try and find those examples

This just isn't true. There's literally a video compilation of him through the years and he's always in a cov top, from a young age. In all the interviews I've seen of him where he's asked, he's said he's a cov fan. England even did a video when he broke in the England team with Callum Wilson saying how they both come from cov and are cov fans...

Somone has an agenda!

There are plenty of instances of his referencing us since leaving if you look hard enough from referring to McSheffrey as his favourite player when he was growing up, or his pleasure at scoring the winning goal against Villa because of his CCFC connections, or referring to us as as the team he supported on a blog that was referred to on this site earlier in the Summer.

100%. I’ve seen numerous TikTok clips where he openly says he’s a cov fan!

Just to clear things up

Maddison is a Cov fan. Had referenced us many a time in interviews and is regularly back here visiting his parents on hipswell highway

Played football with his dad for a while down Stoke Green around 08 - 2013ish. James was only young but occasionally joined in and absolutely took the mick out of grown adults, you knew he would go far

Still stops to speak to those he knows, read afew stories about him 'being a prick' but thats not my experience 🤷

Not a prick and we should be proud of his successes. I've always wanted him to do well, besides at Leicester.

However, I want every opposition player to be booed.

i've no real feelings either way on him now I have got over how shite he was after he signed for Norwich ;)

Sure I saw a video of him and Tom Grennan talking about supporting us and how it’s’ mental- no other fans like us’ TG said strike that’s one of the reasons he switched from Manure.
But not seen anything about Madders being a MU fan, he’s a footballer and will move to wherever fits his precessional development.

Maddison seems like a prick from what I've been told by everyone who knows/met him, nor does he ever talk about City since leaving us.. pretty sure he was a Man U fan anyway growing up
He’s confident off the pitch which can sometimes come across as overconfidence but he’s actually a proper decent bloke to be honest.

proper decent bloke?

ask his mates who he fucked over after a night out in Norwich where the police got involved and he bribed his ‘mates’ to take the rap

Who cares if he’s a bit of a billy big bollocks or had Man Utd bed clothes like half the city at the time.

He’s an academy product and a local lad, I wish him well and hope before and after the game he gets a good reception.

I’ll be calling him a diving overrated prick for 90 mins though if he plays.

I love how GIMOC has all the tea but is also batshit mental. Like the old rumours of the CIA spiking dissidents to discredit them. Doug has cracked down on all rumours apart from those from a bloke who thinks the NWO are crop dusting mind control drugs from the sky. Amazing.

Some people saying , lets get knocked out the League Cup from the off. One wouldn’t be Doug for sure, @ £30 a ticket and all the ancillary spend this will bring, this is a million pound plus game for the club !
Not to mention all the pubs/ clubs around the City getting a very healthy nights takings.

I’ve just read that story and his mate freely admits hitting someone. Maddison bragged about his earnings and £850 trainers but that’s about it. It went to court and a not guilty verdict was the end result.

It’s already been covered on here that it’s not a million pound game for the club, unfortunately.
