it however is an absolutely terrible standard of football, and game in general. For two pretty fancied teams

Shows how far we’ve come

Although Kelly was technically somewhat limited (although his goal today was a cracker), his ability off the ball is of the highest quality. He was always making space to receive the ball, thus creating space for others; he was the main person pressing; he had a goal saving tackle; he was always orchestrating, pointing and applauding.
We really do miss that player who organises and keeps others switched on.
Unfortunately he has a habit when he scores of then getting injured (or sometimes getting injured and then scoring!).

I wonder if that goal saving block on the 6 yard line jarred his knee. He went off about 4 mins later.

He's actually looking OK, West Ham had high hopes of Conor Coventry at one point, surprised he's now playing in league 1.
Could do a job in the championship, and looks better than Allen and Torp.

Although that's not exactly a glowing reference.
He looked nothing special against us and Jamie Allen actually scored at Rotherham in the play off season in a game Coventry was playing in.
