What's the best Cov pub in London? (5 Viewers)

Hi all

I live in London and my work means that it can be hard to get to Coventry for most games and away games are frequently booked before i can get to them.

Are there any good pubs that people tend to gravitate towards for Cov games? Have seen Will King posting that he goes to The Sheephaven Bay in Camden but has anyone else found anywhere else?

There was (still is?) a pub (centrally I think from memory) called 'The Albion' - It was run by a bloke from Coventry who had his failed trial (1970's I think) letter at CCFC framed on the wall.
I'd heard about this pub for a few years - almost became folklore but on one trip to the smoke early '90's we called in.
He spent some time with us and the ale was quite decent as I recall to be fair.

£7.70 for a pint of Peroni?

You'd pay about £6.50 for a pint of Peroni in Cov these days.

Massively overrated lager.

In all seriousness, whenever I've been working in London there's never really been anywhere specific.

It's quite difficult to find anywhere willing to show it if there's multiple other games. O'Neil's Kings Cross used to allow you to book a table and choose the channel but it may be more difficult now with so many televised games on at once.

I lived in London for a while during and after university. It was rare to see another Cov fan, and most pubs wouldn't even contemplate showing Cov games unless we were playing a local side or there wasn't another game on.

I can't remember the name of the pub but there was a pub in the Kings X area that was run by a Cov fan as the London Supporters Club used to hold some functions there .

A friend of mine told me he went into a pub in Richmond (not sure which one) when we were playing the play off final, and it was full of Cov fans.

There was the Albion pub in Shoreditch but that was run by a WBA fan ,who sold up years ago & moved to Margate.
