Yeah but there’s no way 25% of the crowd would ever be U18.
25% total would basically mean 15% of the 26k tickets actually sold would be U18's (feels about right), and if an extra 5k tickets were sold due to cheaper kids pricing, then 80% of those 5000 would be U18 tickets.

Was loading/unloading outside a school in Rugeley this morning, unfortunate timing. You absolutely have to double yellow it, wasn’t on the zigzags which is the important thing. The angry eye contact and horns were excellent, wish I was there tomorrow.
What happened to kids walking/cycling/getting the bus to school? It was still a thing in the 00's. Traffic conditions during school holidays is night and day, it's a complete joke.

There's a school at the end of my road, 5 minutes walk max. I've seen parents opposite me load the kids into the car and drive them to school. They can't even make the excuse they're dropping them off on the way to work as they drive back home afterwards!
Takes me 15 - 20 minutes to get out of my road in term time, 60 seconds at the most in the school holidays.

To Put it into perspective, The Opening Hours were.
11am - 2.30 pm and 6pm/ 10.30pm Weekdays.
12-2pm and 7-10 pm on Sunday's.

Walking or cycling when not all houses had two cars and not everyone drove to work, sure. Idea of my kids riding bikes to work in rush hour traffic surrounded by c*ntmobile 4x4s is terrifying. Want your kids to walk or ride bikes? Do it yourself first, fatties.

I would suggest that if 26,000 show up for a league cup game (which does NOT have the glamour of the FA Cup, no matter who we’re playing), that’s not bad and King has been vindicated.

Whose suggesting £20 across the board and child prices?
Nobody was saying £20. And at what point does this cease to make sense? 10K at £100 would generate more, would that be job done, or do you agree there is a balance to be struck that prioritises revenue but which doesn't alienate and discourage uptake? This especially applies to children, and that's where the issue is more than anything.
We charge kids more than any other club in the league. We only have 6K tickets to sell for league games, but if we sell those 6000 tickets more than 4 or 5 times all season I'd be surprised. Would it not be better to fill those seats more often with the future generation even if it meant a slight reduction in revenue in the short term?
