I don’t understand why we aren’t using the fake goalie injury when the game is clearly going to shit and we all can see it. We must be the only team not doing what everyone else is by now.
I'm afraid that's the least of our problems. What happens when our goalie goes down? There's fuck all coming from our bench anyway.

I am glad we don't though. I absolutely despise it and think it ruins the game.

Absolutely nothing wrong with their keeper tonight. I hate the tactic, which is basically cheating.

Instead of us joining in, I would much rather see it completely eradicated

I can't stand it and it drives me nuts.

These players had it at Wembley. They had it at Wolves. They had it against Tottenham.

They have it when they choose to have it

Even Wembley against Man United it was only about 25 minutes they actually performed, we were dire before that.

How do you drill a winners mentality into a human ? Some have it some don't.

Vik for example has it

Did Vik lose it at Brighton and Swansea?

It’s a factor of leadership. People are different depending on the situation. Look how many players have gone world beater to carpet beater since leaving a good Robins side. Without leadership your team is at the mercy of emotions and how the game is going and if MvE won on Mario Kart last night. With it they’re focused. Some teams lead themselves but not many.

Until that happens we're at a disadvantage, we need to do everything we can to stay up, if it means crowding the ref, bullying linos or keepers faking injury, we need to do it.

When was the last time we played badly in the first half of a game and then played well in the second half? Feels like the first 10 minutes of a game is deciding it at the moment. If we start badly we don’t turn it around. Suggests a real mental weakness in the squad to me.

We need to strengthen the midfield in January else we could be in big trouble

Sheaf was rubbish, too many slow casual passes and sloppy ones too. Sakamoto is not a 10 and he wasn't that good when he moved wide. Only thing he did was score the goal. Van Ewijk was poor as well.

Torp was the player that made the difference when he came. But you can't keep giving sides 2-0 leads.

It wouldn't matter what tactics you gave those players tonight they could not execute anything.

Casual sloppy and lethargic.

Vik has it , playing poorly doesn't mean you don't try and give everything, some of these players quite literally curl up inside and cry until the full time whistle when things aren't going well

Never seen vik hide ever

I agree we need leaders in the team

It won't be.

I'd rather we did whatever it takes to get the edge.

I wouldn’t recommend it but watch it again on TV, the amount of times that Thomas stands foot on ball near half way, waiting for intelligent movement ahead. BTE is the ultimate headless chicken, runs a lot but in all the wrong areas, rarely touches the ball.
Haji is a decent player but had 3 good half chances tonight and should have converted one of them.

They have a game plan though. It was obvious what it was from minute 1. We have fuck all.
We do have a game plan , the problem is when things don't quite go as the players hoped they struggle with their instructions and the game plan falls apart

Tonight we were crying out for a creative midfielder, those little cute passes into the box or a through ball for the strikers to run on to. sheaf, Eccles, Saka have no creativity, a good cross here and there but not much else. For all Kasey Palmers showboating we do miss him, tonight we needed a player like him.

Equally as infuriating is the throw in situation. Can't remember who was taking it but there was absolutely no movement whatsoever and thought he was just going to throw to a derby player out of frustration.

There was no plan tonight. It was plainly obvious what Derby would do. Even before a ball was kicked. They had 2 points from 7 away games. Stop defending the indefensible.

Didn't see a game plan tonight, or a very poor one.
The 3-5-2 was absolutely dreadful today, Derby sat back for 90 minutes and we were completely devoid of ideas for the first 70 minutes

No team goes out without a game plan mark , that's a fact that's not me trying to defend anything

As mentioned just then , every team has a game plan , it's fan jargon for we played shit when they say we don't have a plan

Too many big egos and players who aren’t actually that good

tonight proved we’re in a real relegation battle

I fancy qpr and Portsmouth to finish below us, it’s whether there’s a third

There is having a game plan and there is having a game plan that works. Our plan tonight appeared to be to stroll around the pitch, moving the ball as slowly as possibly, assuming lowly Derby would eventually roll over for us.

Game plan, tactics, plan B, all of this is moot if the players don’t turn up and put the base level of effort in. Derby won today by being first to balls, being positive, and throwing themselves at everything. None of that was written on an iPad.
Not even doing that, we set up a goal for them. They were terrible and we were somehow worse. It’s alarming.

What was the plan tonight?
Unfortunately Mark I can't give you the managers tactics and individual instructions but you can be sure they worked on something and tonight it hasn't worked .

football managers don't just put 11 players on the pitch and say go win
