I want someone running my club who has an idea on how a football club should be run.

Like putting in place a structure that's followed by elite clubs who win things all over Europe? I'm not blindly loving DK here but it's hard to argue he's doing the wrong things for the club.

I think Robins has had less and less influence over how the team plays and how the players perform, but we haven't been good enough since the semi-final and most clubs would have got rid before now.

Yet Again Doug has misread the room.

You probably don’t want an owner who reads the room of football fans constantly. Fickle and irrational.

It’s a bold move to sack Robins (not the decision I’d have made) and we better have a good replacement lined up to turn the ship around.

End of an era and in a state of shock.

Fucking gutted. Absolutely deserved at least the season, especially considering the turn around in the last couple of weeks. An individual error and an offside goal prevented a win last night. Unbelievable decision. King can stick his fans forum up his arse. This didnt have the backing of the fans, and they dont even have a replacement lined up. Joke

The Club will take its time to appoint a successor to Mark, although the position will be that of Head Coach working within the new structure set up by the Club over the last two years.
I guess we’re about to find out how good these coaches are then!

Forget about a strong manager coming in with his team... The statement implies more of a PE teacher working to the system.

honestly feels like a family member has died. The stability Robins brought our club has now vanished.

We are Coventry City. We will never be a top 15 Premier League Club. Robins brought us the happiest times of my life watching Coventry.

2 Promotions. 1 FA Cup Semi Final and some outstanding football

We are all a victim of our own fickle expectations. Absolutely disgraceful decision.

I also hope our players are happy this morning. Their shambolic performances have brought this on.

TBF I thought he has taken us as far as he could. It's been a terrific ride with some lifelong memorable moments, of which I respect him and truly grateful. Taking emotion out of it, I think he lost the changing room. The players do not seem to give a fuck. Taking Vivesh away was a massive mistake.

I’ve had an absolute shocker of a week with restructures at work, my house not selling but this one makes me the most sad.

In truth I’ve been frustrated this season given the backdrop of expectation, the lack of identity in our play and what I’ve seen as indecision during games but there was always a little faith some magic could happen and I thought this week could have really continued to kickstart our season.

He’s brought the only notion of success I’ve experienced following Coventry. All I’d ever known was 17th place finishes, relegation and strikers seemingly never being able to make double figures.
