Yeah agreed. When a captain should speakStrange that Bidwell did the press conference today when he is not fit to play tomorrow. In these circumstances I’d expect the the captain would have done it

Doug openly admitted he's not going to rush a decision and he's not implied there is anyone lined up, why wouldnt he say if there was?! all i am hopeful for is that we dont end up with an interim for long, as it stands there is no plan to suggest that wont be the case, we may hear different on Monday!Carr could win all his games and he wouldn’t be in charge.
wanting us to lose games when we are already near the relegation zone is idiocy
It isn't going to be an option?;
Im pretty sure there’s the international break after Sunderland. I expect us to have brought in a replacement before the end of next week.
Andrew's to fit in place of Eccles, ban?I've got no stomach for this one. I hope Simms is back as we really needed him against Derby.
3-4-1-2
Dovin,
Bobby, Lati Binks
vEwik, Eccles, Sheaf, da Silva
Torp (God knows how much I would have liked to be putting 'James' there)
Simms Haji
We were likely to lose to Sheff Utd and Burnley whoever was in charge. Realistically we shouldn't be paying attention to those results, Cardiff will be the first real test and a must win really.Honestly, people should have been awake to how close we are to those days before they jumped on the Robins out bandwagon. Lose to Sunderland, bring in a new guy nobody has heard of/likes - start with losses to Sheffield United, Burnley and Cardiff and things will turn proper toxic. The wrong appointment here and King could easily undo all the good work Robins has done over the last 7 years.
5-0 win minimum, shoot on sight!Been told that Patterson isn't ready and Simon Moore will be starting in goal tomorrow.

That's just weird
Only one man can save Robins job now, the legend himself who deserves a testimonial for his lengthy service Julian Gray
Sheaf shows no leadership on the pitch, so can't expect him to show leadership off it.
who actually cares?!
actually kind of hope we lose the next few to force King into a decision, rather than pissing about with Interim coaches who fluke the odd point here and there.
ooo "true fan"I want my team to win no matter who's in charge, it's what true fans do.
And that's coming from someone who has supported this Club for over 65 years through thick and thin, my god we've had some shit over the year's.
City till I die.
Right - Now I have had time to digest today's events... We can't afford to not give a fuck about the result! We need points... and we don't want those smarmy bastards gloating on us either
Get up there and give them hell and a performance the gaffer would be proud of
Very odd. Seems completely at odds for an injured player to be doing the press conference.Press conference doesn't exactly get you fired up does it. Carr, 'I will do my best', Bidwell, 'its a new scenario for him'. No sign of the captain.
It's almost like people are just speculating.Very odd. Seems completely at odds for an injured player to be doing the press conference.
It's almost like no-one else would do it, so he has to step-in, which would be utterly ridiculous.
Of course their speculating. Happens every week. It's almost like people are just speculating.
Did you never play football or rugby with a good captain. Not agreeing or disagreeing with you, but why do you think this? What does leadership look like?
Maybe he will move the players around with a mouseWill be interesting to see who Carr picks, but I think he has to set the team up as trying to attack. if we play AAATB possession football the atmosphere could be very ugly.
Will also be interesting if he spends time in the technical area and coaching players from the sidelines, or whether he will sit looking at the all-seeing i-pad all game.
I'm asking a question. My point would be leadership takes different forms. How can we assume an ineffective or spineless leader from our seats?Did you never play football or rugby with a good captain.
He isn’t vocal on the pitch, seems reserved off it and is a figure who tries to lead by example. Unfortunately, his play has gone off a cliff this season leaving little else.I'm asking a question. Sheaf might well be a shite leader, we don't know. But he was picked by MR and he's backed by his team mates
It just about says everything unfortunately. One of the longest running managers in the football league gets sacked under your watch and you are nowhere to be seen.
