It seems on here once someone gets an idea in their head they keep to it no matter how stupid it makes them look.

I'm always willing to learn. Looks like I was worried about Lampard for no reason. I hold my hands up to that. The players? Let us see what happens with new formations. I have seen Lati get lots of abuse on here but against Millwall he looked a different player.

I'm willing to give everyone a fresh start. Onwards and upwards I hope.

Was good, as was everyone else in the defence but we need to see it more often, as needing to score 3 goals to win a game most weeks is completely unsustainable

Not going to get carried away as I thought Millwall looked a bit toothless and I have seen the frailties in this defence too many times this season but it is a start - More of the same and we will get more results:)

Not been on here too see what people are saying, but there were some small changes yesterday. Defensively we were much more compact, the back line were the width of the pen area, which meant that teams couldn't play a ball in between our cb and full back which has led to us conceding lots. So far so good.

He had a great game and is comfortably our best CB. Not sure what people are watching sometimes tbh.

He was, and so was Lats!

The defence in general seemed far more composed (on and off the ball) which is probably more to do with how well we controlled the game. We didn't give up the ball with daft errors as frequently as we have generally this season which helps too!

Both cb were excellent and I've had Thomas high in the ratings for the past few games. Excellent in the air on both boxes. Needs to cut out thing like the back heel in midfield which panics everyone but solid, brave and young enough to have lots of improvement in him. In fact all 4cb still young and gaining experience at this level and aren't half as bad as some make out.

He played better on Saturday but let’s be honest he’s been poor this season.

go and check his ratings on whoscored if we are interested in stats.

he’s been part of a defence that’s been conceding 2 goals every game and his passing has been shocking.

For a team that conceded so many his ratings are actually pretty solid

Well his season total is 6.74 , borja sainz is the highest championship player at 7.49

Hardly catastrophic
The same as Luis Binks who most on here wanted dropped after last game.

also heavily skewed by the last 2 games, before that he averaged 6.58 which included a 7.84 rating against a 10 man Middlesbrough.

To be fair doesn't that just show that fan opinion isn't always very accurate ?

We make far more of things than what's actually happening

I don’t think so, there’s no secret defensively we have been really poor all season I don’t think anyone’s blowing that up greater than it is

He’s reasonable and looked fine at the weekend, but the talk that he’s a top quality championship centre half is nonsense, and I’d be looking for a new Cb pairing in January
We aren't going to be shopping for a whole new pairing in Jan when we have 4 CBs we've paid money for, all within the last year and a half.

I wouldn’t. Would be keeping Thomas in for sure. Also, if we go on to keep a decent amount of clean sheets from now, would you still be look for a new CB pairing?!

Potentially move Kitching on though.

Of course, but in an ideal world that’s what we would do.

The 4 we have signed have not been Greta by any stretch

I’d still be looking for a new CB regardless of keeping a decent amount of clean sheets, which I’m not convinced we will keep
