Anyone heard anything about this? Do get it, for a million but only if more money is available as otherwise seems a waste when it doesn’t address our problems atm

Be interesting to see how much doug makes available over the coming 2 -4 transfer windows now that the vik and hamer money is no more , I imagine quite a few dion sanderson esq signings inbound
To be fair money doesn’t necessarily buy quality but means we have to be way more careful. Not holding out hope atm but who knows, football can change very quickly

Well the windows where we were without a pot to piss in have been considerably better than the ones where we have had money so it might be a blessing in disguise

Keep signing league one players and we will be in league one.
if DK is serious about getting out this league we need proven quality from the championship and abroad not a load of players whos achievements are league one and below.
I know without parachute payments its difficult but there is a reason teams in the top six are top six and thats because there starting 11 isnt made up of lower league. There are one or two gems that can step up but not half our team and if DK isnt prepared to py wages to compete with quality then we are pissing in the wind and the reason our top players move on instead of us building

I hope not, half decent on his day but he's not an upgrade on any of the back line. Complete waste of money. Wouldn't have minded him a few years back but not now.

Trying to take the positives from it. We desperately need cover at right back and he can play there, big lad, loads of Championship experience, former captain of Birmingham so clearly has good leadership, not a kid at 25 years old. I don't mind it personally as we're crying out for these sort of attributes in the squad.

He’s a leader, but he’s also a terrible footballer
I don’t think he is a leader. Granted he was captain for a while but that was stripped from him.
There is a possibility that a fresh start under a new manager could kick start his career, but really we do not need another fragile flapping fanny of a defender. We’ve got enough of them already.

There are positives but just feels a bit desperate as a signing. But who knows new club might help him after what happened. Was good for them when he went on loan before he signed and all the crap happened
