Old ( M Night Shyamalan )

Two hours of my life I won`t get back.

A group of tourists on an idyllic island, are dropped off on the pathway to a secluded cove, where for some they all start to age rapidly and can`t escape due to the magnetic powers of the rocks causing blackouts every time they pass a certain point.

Utter garbage, just like every single one of M Night Shymalan`s films since the Sixth Sense.
Yeah. It was very poor.

Was trying to get either me wife or daughter to come to see this but they don’t fancy it
Its a weird show in that everyone that watches is loves it but hardly anyone watches it. Despite that its managed 9 series and a west end show! I had the same problem, nobody was interested in coming but I thought fuck it. Opens the weekend of my birthday so I'm heading off for a solo weekend in London.
Looks completely sold out. Shame as I really fancied this☹️
Seemed to go very quickly and with how busy they both are can't imagine they're going to have the availability to extend the run or tour it sadly. And its not really something you'd want to see with a different cast. Although there has been a previous stage adaption somewhere in the far east I think that they weren't in.

Have you watched Knock at the Cabin?

Oh, we didn't like it, Daz. Sub-par Home Alone for adults, we felt and it all felt very old and tired and not that funny, to us.

Shame, because we like both the two comedians.

Seamlessly links his character, to his character in The Batman.

Colin Farrell is outstanding.

The ending was a real shocker too and brave too, as normally American audiences don`t like endings like that.

Looks like there`s another series in the pipeline too.
Yes the Batman logo in the sky. Shame for the kid at the end

A good doc on BBC2 the other night "From Roger Moore With Love". Assume it's based on his memoirs as they've got Steve Coogan doing his voice, as if he's reading his own life story.

As an asside, in another thread Gazolba referenced Roger Moore and Michael Caine - they apparently were good friends.

Roger Moore was a big fan of the greyhound pub apparently

Went to see the Robbie Williams picture this afternoon.
Was much better than I expected.
The chimp thing is a really good device for showing him through the years. You don't end up bemoaning the lack of accuracy al a Elton John and Freddy Mercury in recent biopics.

Last series of What We Do In The Shadows is on Disney + and really going out on a high.

Just starting Man on the Inside on Netflix and that seems decent so far. It's by the guy behind Brooklyn Nine Nine and The Good Place so you expect it to be decent. Also has Ted Danson in it who is great at these type of roles.

Watched Blackkklansman for the 2nd or 3rd time with the folks, who hadn’t seen it. It’s brilliant and I think it’s definitely worth another viewing as things change in America.
