Very odd to only make one change and then delay subs. Surely fresh legs at the back with either Binks or Kitching. Add then to get Torp off earlier.
Lucky to get a point from 10 men.

Last 5 games Hull, Pompey, Plymouth, Millwall and Cardiff.

Goals scored 8
Goals conceded 6
Points 8

We should have got 12 points, a win against Millwall and we should have beaten 10 man Cardiff.

POMPEY, HULL, CARDIFF AND PLYMOUTH all in the bottom 4. Really isn't good enough.

Binks, Thomas, Joel, Kitch, Asante, Dasilva are all not at this level.

The problem is we went 4-2-4, but them pushed the two fullbacks high so was a 2-2-6, then there's absolutely no space, and everyones on top of each other.
And nobody wanted to put a ball across the box to make them worry.

I actually agree that is the case. I thought it was trolling originally but not sure.
Not desperate at all for Lampard to fail. Was impressed with his words when he first came in.

how anyone can say this is much better or an improvement is beyond me.

Weve played poor opposition, lost 4-1 to the team that were bottom and drew with a team that had 10 men for a half.

I'm sorry, but I'm yet to see this team do a single thing better under Lampard. It's the same formation, the same personnel, in the same positions, making the same mistakes.

We definitely play a lot slower and safer when we're on the ball (be still my beating heart). But we're hopeless defensively and lacking ideas going forward - the same problems as the first 14 games.

The players are shite. It’s as simple as that

Massive stack of cash and no pressure or accountability. Nice work if you can get it.
Whatever his faults, you can tell Lampard is desperate to succeed; his stock is low and there are people desperate for him to fail. So there's a lot of pressure on him, and ultimately this is a make or break appointment. Goes wrong, and he's a life of punditry ahead of him.

It may not be his team, but if he doesn't get it performing, then the knives are out.

The last 20 or so minutes summed up the season under both Frank and Robins. A really fragile and timid midfield who are scared to put a ball over the top or through a defence.

Very little urgency throughout the side despite efforts from Frank to overload with strikers. We are in desperate need for someone in the 10 to move. Torp was a statue throughout that second half.

Bassette and Asante were desperate for balls over the top and no one had the ability or confidence to play it to them.

i'm okay with that, didn't lose to a Welsh team

we could be pretty good with the right january additions

I possibly sound like I am, but I assure you I’m not. The team will always come above views on any manager and I actually like Lampard.

The point I’m consistently making is the Head Coach requirement was an elite tactician - I’m not sure I’m seeing that.
the tactics are fine and pretty good and interesting

It has to be Lampard and the management team.
Said it before, and I'll say it again - Lati and Thomas are not comfortable at carrying the ball forward, and we don't have a 'Barry Bannan type' midfielder who will come and collect the ball, and start dictating the play from the middle of the park. We seem to want to probe down the wings, but MVE (off form, probably due to overplaying him) seems affected by the current cb pairing, so Tats has less of the ball. On the other side, we have lost EMS, Haji Wright. It is not surprising we are struggling as a result. Not all of our players are crap, but we do need our best players back/several additions to help the team.

Pile of shite that got the clubs third best league finish in a quarter of a century…

What do you think is the problem then? Do you think Robins and Lampard told them to play badly?

Fucking appalling that, should never have been a red to their player…slow, ponderous, lazy, dimwitted it had the fucking lot..heading balls aimlessly…constantly giving the ball away with key players yet again ensuring negative backward / sidewards play….i actually don’t blame FL poor fucker has a monster size Xmas turd on his hands here

This result highlights the urgency of getting a creative midfielder in, aside Rudoni our midfielders can't or don't want to take a man on or slip a pass into the spaces when they're around the box. Very poor today I don't know if any one has the XG for creativity be interested to see where they are.

think that tells you more about the players than the manager,he can’t polish a turd and we’ve got plenty of them, players aren’t good enough simple as, not Lampards fault,
