You'll never get there at the rate it's increasing!
Even if I do, it’ll be abolished a week before I can apply for it.

And Raphael will still be smiling for publicity photos, with no debut in sight.

The more time goes on the more I start to think there’s some weight to what someone hypothesised on here about it being a visa thing
He would need a Visa to even train would he not? He is technically working even if only training

It is a little bizarre that he has been training with the first team squad for a couple of weeks now and not getting a run out with the u23s.

Raphael was born in the Netherlands. Would that make it easier or harder for work permits? Genuinely lost track?!

His dad's Brazilian, he was born in Netherlands, raised in Aus and now living in Coventry

That’s a good point.

I can only think that he has recovered from his injury but - as you would expect - isn’t yet regarded as being match fit.

If that’s correct we will surely see him in the U23s very soon.

assuming he has been registered as a player with the FA/EFL it can't be a VISA issue

Must be injury/fitness, no reason Robins would lie about it tbf

There's no rush for him. Trust the staff that matter to let him know when they feel he is ready for a game .
He sounds an exciting prospect judged by comments from Robins but let's give him and the club time to get match fit

When you see that under 21 team there doesn’t seem to be a lot there pushing the first team squad.

Think we won 2-0, unsure though

Realistically would we be better to loan him to a League one side and then go for a loan to cover Sakamoto?

Not sure who’s available as a loan in this position, Sobra Thomas has been mentioned tho

If he needs to get fitter or more robust he probably better being with us. No point in sending him on loan if he's just going to get injured. Torp cant do 90 minutes either so maybe that can do extra training together.
