The pure ignorance on this thread of us potentially sleepwalking into a relegation battle is mad

Our 3 best players are out injured currently. 2 of them nowhere near returning yet

Before we know it we are another 8 games down. We need signings
When we sign anyone, you'll call them sh*t anyway after a few games. Take a step back and calm down - control the things that you can in your life, and don't get so stressed about those things that you can't. For what it's worth, it's not necessarily ignorance regarding sleepwalking towards relegation, but maybe a mix of perspective and self-awareness.

Was told today of a delay on the Rak Sakyi deal. And no one needs to believe me, dont need any 'heres your agenda'stuff, but again it's down to Doug being funny about loans.....

Outs wise, Hull and Blackburn want BTA but it will be for less than we paid, so it's probably not a goer. Tavares and Collins both have solid L1 interest. Collins will be harder to Shift however as he's sat on a nice contract for the next 18 months.

Lati deal still on

Now Sky reporting the BTA offer

Yet STILL people on here claim I 'make things up for clout'

Madness

If we can flip BTA and Lati and reinvest - centre mid / right back (loan perhaps until summer) and right winger it makes sense I think.

Nice lad, sat with his family at Bristol City away game, his old man was top, so nice. Sometimes it just doesnt work out and I think, we dont need him and Bassette.

Agreed. Though like Lati a slight worry we are shipping out good characters from a squad light on them.

2 mill for lati and 1.75 mill for Doug, let’s hope he uses it to sign us some players and not put it in his pocket
Yes, because there’s evidence to suggest that’s been happening all along. It’s embarrassing the way some spout their anti DK agenda. He may have made mistakes but he clearly has been reinvesting the fees received from transfers.

So attacking wise we have

Bassette who can’t score
Simms who is immobile
Sakamoto who apparently is a one trick pony
And Raphael who’s unproven

until EMC and Wright are back in feb, with no plans to get in any other forwards

We must have other irons in fire surely, sounds like being kept well under wraps if so.

Just makes sense to shuffle BTA and Lati - ONLY if we reinvest though, cant have another Palmer situation. As you say, we need to be careful here with just shipping everyone out.

Good to see he invested the palmer wages and fee and didn’t leave us short on deadline day

Surely the plans on who comes in depends on who goes out? Who says if BTA goes out we won't bother with any more forwards?

Nothing has happened yet.

Bassette scored 2 so far
Simms scored 19 last season so capable.
Sakamoto is a threat and can score
Who's Raphael lol I agree on this btw
There has got to be work going on in the background and we have a few weeks left yet
Chill out
