I will try to summarise the good points as seen by myself & other posters.
The defence is much better, we are keeping some clean sheets
We have much better form, 1.5pts per game since FL was appointed
We are unbeaten at home since FL was appointed
The squad is being well utilised and FL has found an effective formation
The team is managing to get results despite key players being injured
Players are being played in their natural positions
Some players like Torp and Dovin are playing much better
Everybody has been given a chance, e.g. Kitch coming back has been good
Fitness in the squad seems to be improving

On the other hand
There are too many weak passes that give away possession
A few players have lost form MVE & Eccles, temporary I am sure
The play can be less exciting than it has been, but if we win I do not care
Away form is still poor
Injury problems are not going away
Cover at left and right back is particularly thin

Add to that missing 3 key players with lengthy injuries under 'On the other hand' section

I agree with that. It was certainly the best win of Lampards tenure

There’s a massive improvement in our team-the way we set up, the tactics and the way most players actually sticking to their roles.

Definitely an improvement (this season) than under Robins as well.

The reason why players are improving is because they are being coached properly-that’s Lampard and his back room staff.

Players are obviously buying into whatever Frank’s saying and team cohesion, commitment and confidence is positive.

We’re beginning to see the qualities of some of our newly bought players too.

Can only get better when injured players come back.

Whilst I agree players are improving and look more organised than earlier in the season, we have been improving players for the last 8 years. Early this season was a bit of a blip.
On CWR, they played a game against Bristol City in the Championship we won. Vik and Gus were on the bench. That shows how much we improved those players that they weren't even starters then. For all the early matches CWR played, it is amazing how many of the goals we gave away were due to mistakes by Fadz. Those three players improved massively under the now defunkt coaching regime.
Are Lamps and his coaching set up better than in the past. Since Adi left maybe. Time will tell.

Spot on. The only point I would question is the fitness? We used to score a lot of goals near the end of matches, now we seem to concede them. May not be fitness but confidence.

Looks super focused in the interview after the game, the hunger, drive and focus is definitely there. Some of Robins interviews near the end were rather depressing.

Spot on. The only point I would question is the fitness? We used to score a lot of goals near the end of matches, now we seem to concede them. May not be fitness but confidence.

With Simms especially but then maybe it is also due to Haji being injured.

I’m not at all convinced defensively, Dovin kept us in it yesterday and without that save first half it could have been a very different game. I thought they cut us open quite easily again and again we weren’t creating many clear cut chances. xG and big chances were both around one a piece.

We do seem to be playing better in spells. Moving the ball forwards finally, less plodding on the ball like we were in his first nine games. We seem to be playing it long a lot more up to the front two, not exactly pretty but effective at times. And though still miles off where we need to be we’ve looked more aggressive last two. Still not winning anything like enough second balls though.

Next month and a half will tell us more than the last month and a half have.

The league this year absolute dogshit. Lets be honest we have had a terrible season by our recent standards and yet only 9 points off play offs.

This season is a huge fuck up and huge missed opportunity.

5th and 6th place was there for the taking this season.

I think this has been part of the frustration this season particularly early on when we failed to build any momentum at all. I couldn’t believe how poor Bristol were yesterday given their league position. Have we seen a decent opposition team this season at the CBS ?

We were very impressive vs Millwall away, West brom Away (dont quit know how lost)., nearly a perfect away performance at Norwich too for 90 mins. The closest we ever been to getting a win there.

Hull at home we were very good too. I wont even mention Plymouth.

Agree mostly, but it does seem a recurring rhetoric in football as a whole that your keeper making saves equals your defense being bad. I have no problems with Dovin having to make a save a game.

Keepers are obviously important, but to have game after game where your keeper isn't making saves either means a) your back line is unreal, or b) you're conceding a lot.

We fell into category B with Collins in the latter half of his run (I won't discount some decent saves that he made like others), but I think we are all much happier with a successfully working keeper than not. If Dovin wasn't having to work, there would still be questions, but he's showing himself to be a great keeper both in his saves and with his feet when thinking about him starting the move that led to Milan's attempt yesterday.

In my opinion FL has better staff and is a better coach than MR. This doesn't mean i don't rate MR because i do, but i did see limitations in him especially at the end of his time with us. FL is doing a good job and is improving both player and group which i think is a good sign going forward. Especially when he gets a chance to bring in his own players and really get to put his stamp and make the squad his own.

The improvements i think are obvious even to those who don't like FL would say we look fitter, more stable and better without the ball. He is making the right calls with the players and has obviously sat down with them and demanded more from each if they are to stick around. I hope he keeps improving the group and gets a chance to make multiple moves during the summer to start with a squad that has a real shot at play off football

We anticipate danger awfully. The run in behind by Wells for his one-on-on chance was far too easy. It was similar to how we conceded against Luton for their second earlier this season.

We're very flat as a backline though, whether we play a 3 or a 4. So if we come up against a quick No.9. that likes to play in behind we can't cope.

This would've been something that would've been instructed to them in training though. So I suspect it's more of an ability issue than a tactical one.

Unfortunately it just highlights our lack of quality in defence.

Whichever way you cut it, there’s been an improvement under Lampard and we’ve been without our best attacking players.

Binks has done it all year, he lets players run off him all the time and has no awareness of what’s happening around him. Thats why having him next to Dasilva in a back four was asking for trouble

That’s not saying both aren’t useful players, I thought Dasilva had a great game after shaky first 10 minutes and Binks, after a stinking first half was very good second…but never as a combo down the left in a back four
