Fair does to him if he goes, Mad Mick has them rolling now but all this talk of my family is settled in the midlands, would be rubbish!

The only reason to hold the front page would be:

"Footballer puts fans first"

......never gonna happen.

Good luck to him, he did a great job for us but like all modern footballers he will go where the money is.
Now am sitting back now and awaiting first post about how crap McGoldrick is and how he was totally over rated etc

At least we have a decent replacement in Clarke. 11 goals in a poor Scunthorpe team is a good return, so he should bag his share for us!

Makes me laugh all the "He goes where the money is Shite"........Why shouldn't he get a decent deal for himself? They are Championship and Forest get a fee, They wouldnt give him to us free and i bet we couldn't even offer a half decent wage!

Was great loan player, scored good and plenty goals. Has helped put us in good posistion, i hope he continues doing well. But mostly, that Clarke picks up where he left and 2013 ends with success.

HE WAS A LOAN PLAYER!!! Come on folks we borrowed him there was no chance of us signing him for good. He served a purpose for us in respect he banged in goals, we served a purpose to him in raising his profile again as a capable goalscorer. Lets hope Clarke can perform close to what we had.

I hear Ballotelli is looking for a club?? ;)

Yes I'm sure your mates at sisu desparatly tried to sign him eh.

They probably offered NFFC and McG the best we could offer, being in L1 with the burden of high rent means it was always going to be an upwards struggle.

I doubt we tried to sign him simply because he is out of our price bracket and to be fair Waggott said that right from the start - no blame attached to SISU its just a fact of life at CCFC.
Whether you can blame SISU (and previously equally incompetent owners) for putting us in a position where we cannot afford players like McG is a different argument.

He'll be moving on again or doing the rounds on loan again in a few years time imo, good luck to him though hope it works out for him. He earned his move with fantastic form here
