Just wanted to say on the back of our latest wins i wanted to give a shout out to Oliver - some amazing performances well done Sir 👋👋

And to think he is still young for a goalkeeper, if he continues to impress I can see another big payday coming our way. 🤑

He looked a bit hesitant coming out for the ball today, but I think any keeper would struggle with the high line we’re playing with.

His main weakness remains communication with the defence which I think was the root cause for his gaffe.

Disapointed with the Telegraph stand, no effort to give him a lift /backing to him as he came out for the second half.

He showed his resilience to recover from the earlier error and made some excellent saves tonight. Character building performance, just hope we can keep him longer term 🤞

Hopefully the coaches will focus on the excellent stuff he did tonight and not the errors.

I hope they focus on the errors so he can improve. Surely that’s basic training?

Or do you mean selection for the team?

There was one occasion where we had a FK about 30 yards out to the right hand side, why did we let Lati take it could have advanced the play into the box but I'm pretty sure it went AAATB?

In GK terms he's a child. There will be mistakes, but let's not beat him up over the odd one as still our motm tonight for two outstanding 1v1 saves. Very lucky to have him, good times ahead for him and us.

What's AAATB?

I was going genuine, never heard of it. Just searched AAATB on the forum and 5 pages mostly by BSB, I assume 3 at the back?

Agreed…one almighty cockup (him, Lati and Thomas) but apart from that an excellent performance and easily our motm. Despite the barracking from the Leeds fans after the mistake he kept his head and composure. Will be a star in the future for us and/or a top European side

For 'that goal' tonight, there are other team members who should also shoulder some of the blame....maybe more of it.
Bogle should have been tacked/stopped/fouled by at least 3 players before he even got into the area, and then Lati looks like he's going to lump it out (the correct choice), before he then inexplicably stops dead in his tracks. How Dovin was supposed to know that Lati was going to leave the ball, i don't know, and well, the aftermath didn't go well for us.
Dovin played really well for the rest of the game, and made some crucial saves, when it looked way more likely that we were going to concede.
Still our no.1, by a long, long way.

100% - Every goal is a team failure. It should’ve been a goal without the Dovin mistake to be honest. Which makes it even more frustrating because I’m sure everyone felt we’d been let off the hook before he spilled it.

to be fair, he probably called for it, but then if that’s the case Lati should’ve just left it but instead he either tried to be too clever by disguising the fact he was leaving it, or he was indecisive and at the last split second decided to leave it. Either way it threw dovin and he fumbled it. I’d expect Lati to put that in the stands and deal with a pissed off Dovin afterwards

Yeah that's my take on it, Dovin took his eye off the ball for a split second because of Lati.

The boy stood up well after that balls up, hopefully he can keep improving. Tbh the Leeds finishing wasn’t the best though last night.
