That’s the most relevant thing. He did nothing to warrant being included in the league team. I think we will try and move him out in the summer
He was playing in midfield on his own. Allen was totally anonymous. Eccles made 7 tackles and interceptions to Allen's 1.
And yet better than Allen.
Can't wait for Grimes to come in, going to make such a difference.

Eccles is so ponderous, doesn’t play forward, isn’t on the front foot, he wouldn’t stand out in L1. Throwing his arms around at Rudoni’s corners when he can barely kick the ball himself. Constantly hiding in midfield, doesn’t want the ball and never takes it on the half turn. Only ever plays the way he facing

It’s irrelevant about Allen - who has been a major influence in our revival - he’s form has nosedived. Today he did nothing. When grimes and sheaf are available he’s not even a bench option in reality. I’m sure you said he’s a player we could get a couple of million for - if so take it

Ponderous on the ball yes I mostly agree - apart from a decent pass to set Bassette up late on.
But he was the only one breaking up play.

With Sheaf and/or Grimes to come back in, not to mention Torp and EMC, I can't see Eccles getting many minutes.
I thought Frank fucked up today, I'd of played Eccles as RB and started Torp, he could always of rested Torp on Tuesday when Grimes is available.
