part of the problem, people moving to the corner to be entertained

also people threw a hat about for a laugh, big whoops

And to show off on TikTok that they sit there

Left on 90 mins had to be in work in London by midnight so was pushing it anyway … got to the steps by the subway to tescos and heard the roar couldn’t give a f@@k I missed it at least

If people choose to leave that's up to them. Granted I rarely leave early . You wouldn't go to the cinema and leave before the end unless the movie was shite I guess. I don't get the fuss over people leaving before the final whistle.

Everything but the final 2 minutes of the movie last night was shite.

Wish I left before the end of Oppenheimer. What a boring waste of time that was.

Only my second home game of the season last night. Sat in the family stand with my 10yr old daughter.

Atmosphere is definitely down on last couple of years - but full credit to Singer's corner & the drummer. The game was flat - and that was reflected in the stands. Singers corner was good - especially in the second half. Most home teams have very little vocal support - and I think we're fortunate to have consistent vocal backing at home.

Credit to QPR as well. Good numbers & decent noise for a Tuesday night. Result felt very harsh on them

Last night was probably the perfect scenario for a flat atmosphere. Midweek, cold, tight, low quality game. And was 0-0 up to the last minute.

lets face it. Probably everyone in attendance probably couldn’t wait to get home. Go back to Ipswich game where there was a full house, it was raucous until they scored.

I think our home support gets some unfair flack and it's usually decent compared to most even if not hitting the heights of a couple of years ago.

But it did seem unusually flat last night, but it was a Tuesday night, the game was poor, and it was bloody freezing.

Completely agree.....drummer and the area around block 15 were brilliant....even 16 were loud....13 & 14 average at best.
Half of block 14 is now secondary school age kids who were more occupied with throwing their friends hats/caps around in the 2nd half.
Singers Corner has been diluted due to a reasons combined and won't return to what it was a couple of years back. I'm in block 14 myself and was fuming with the kids fuckin about.....final nail in the coffin for us as a group as we're moving our seats next season....know a good few who are doing the same....it'll be worse next season in that area
I'm moving from there too, had enough a while ago, wish I would have stayed in block 16 where we were last season, gonna go back there next season

We're not Brazil potbelly.
I loved it last night. What's not to like about a last minute winner in a competitive match that we could of lost. The goal itself was classic EFL British football : a bloody good corner headed home by a big centre half. A thing of beauty.

I thought when Mason came on there was a notable lift in atmosphere which continued through to the fabulous finale.

Not for me, personally. Boring football and cold. Good to hear you enjoyed it though.

Something that pleased me today was there wasn’t a mass walkout when Stoke equalised (admittedly a few people left).

There once was a time that if we’d thrown away a 2 goal lead in the 86th minute, half the crowd would’ve walked out and the other half would’ve been heckling the team.

Yep, I noticed that. Probably the best of the season so far? Luton was too early in the season to make for the exit.

To me it seemed nervous. Tends to be that way when three points expected. When we playing a team with pressure off, the atmosphere is more raucous.
I didn’t notice that where I was. There was the usual tosser sitting behind me. But the fans seemed up for it today. When it got to 2-2 it was a bit nervy but still backing the team..

agreed. I personally find 2-0 leads very nervy particularly in the situation of the ref missing the most blatant penalty and red card in the history of football which would have ended the game and made for an enjoyable second half.

Mega celebrations like that are only usually in evidence when you are playing a game where you are not expected to win or you’ve won a game at the death that you thought you’d blown.
Ecstasy !

I couldn't believe the great reviews that got.

I was expecting a few more cool nuclear explosions in it

What did we learn today lads?

Just my thoughts - Kitching and Thomas should always play together - as someone said above - warriors and have real heart.

Grimes is the first name in midfield.

Torp's second goal was picture perfect FL - coaching is paying off. And Eccles is showing similar promise.

I always feel more confident with Sheaf lining up.

EMC too isolated - didn't get that. As was Simms.

I really like BTA but he was in the wrong position today.

We need Haji fit and firing and doing what he does best in terrorising the oppo and combining with Simms (think Wolves).

And Saka is back to his effective best. MVE is simply prem class and Dovin was a brilliant find by the scouts - we've had problems with an elite number 1 for years.

I thought it was very good. South Stand best it's been since the Oxford game.

After the 3rd it was amazing, especially as the Stoke fans had been properly giving it stacks.

Think we need to get through the next two and patch a few up/get a few up to speed. Wright and Sheaf look like they need more training, MvE and EMC look like they need a break and Rudi needs a couple of weeks.

A point from the next two and I’m happy. 2 or 4 and I’m ecstatic. Then a good couple of weeks of solid training with everyone involved and we should see the benefits.

Would be good to get a full house, always worry when we’ve got two home games in two weeks one will suffer. But the crowd could make such a difference on Saturday.
What’s really great is the number of tops
Number of kids
Number of women
Number of all ages
Number of non whites
Everyone sings
Everyone screams
So many fans stayed at the end to to applaud the team
Such a great feeling
