Torp was 100% free to play today with Grimes deep lying (although not as much as usual) and Allen basically mopping up everywhere (was there only one Jamie Allen on the pitch?) - Torp or Rudoni in that role are incredible options! I don’t think Eccles or Sheaf do the same thing, but horses for courses I guess

If Wright and Simms are interchangeable now and Wright also covers EMC on the left, that’s a pretty strong front line with Saka back to his best too

and a clean sheet against a normally potent attack, MVE looking confident, JDS showing what he can do, and ThomKitch solid, plus we’ve potentially unearthed a gem in Dovin

looking rosy again, and all signs only point in one direction 🫢

We are seeing the elite level coaching that Doug King wanted as Lampard has instilled confidence and consistency in the players.
A prime example is Jamie Allen who was outstanding today. Probably his best performance for the club.

Credit to Lampard and the coaching staff, who have got the players playing to the best of their abilities.
Also, Torp has massively improved under Lampard and is becoming a key player.

Some absolute bellend has phoned CWR to criticise Simms
Always going to get those people that can't enjoy a win without taking a swipe at other players. He's been playing through a niggle the last few weeks, as has Eccles and a couple of others. BTA succumbed to his. All the more reason to be happy that Wright and EMC are back for the run in, and Allen who has of experience of seeing us through the playoff's, if we make it.

I'm sorry for anyone I disagreed with earlier but saw this coming. They're crap in defence. They ended up more interested in not getting hammered more than getting a point from the game. That's why I want them and us 4th and 5th.

@Grendel I hope you got the turnstile out of your arse before the game started.

Jamie Allen and his energy gives us a different feel with the midfield.

Haji really was chalk and cheese from Derby. Complete 9 performance.

To go into the break back in 5th and beating the team above us is psychologically fantastic.

The team deserve a break now after a fantastic run and recharge for the final push. Plus we will have Rudoni back.

Anything could happen against Burnley and SU. 4 points would be perfect without being too greedy,

Not going to start the argument up again, but I always believed that Robins would have turned things around, had he stayed.

Can't see anyway how he would have got us to where Frank Lampard has though. It's been a phenomenal change in fortunes.
As you know I was with you all the way. But only an idiot would say Robins would have done the same. The stats were there but the results are on another level
